i love you mom.
ohhh work.
i now spray my hands with a liquid mixture after i work with every patient.
it is a mixture of lavender oil and vodka.
it is to get rid of any negative energy a patient might give me.
it makes my hands feel FABULOUS.
i haven't particularly wanted to strangle any patients lately... perhaps it's soaking into my blood. i'll be over .08 bac but i sure won't have any negative energy ;)

Vodka eh? That sounds interesting.... And, wouldn't people come to see you to get rid of negative energy? Like they'd be GLAD to see you and not give you bad vibes? Oh well.... -
i almost DIED when i saw that you had updated. :) it made my night/morning. also, if it is soaking into your blood, don't drive...my friend ed can tell you first hand why that is not a good idea. -

well obviously thursday nights are a no go. parks and recreation is on at 830 (i refuse to give up on this), the office is on at 9, 30 rock at 930, and then southland at 10. plus i have a little tutoring job on thursday afternoons, but that's obviously not as important as my thursday night line up. so bible studies on thursdays are OUT. i asked dana who was giving the invitation (they do invitations down here too on wednesdays, but that is another complaint for another time), and she said chris. i told her to shut her dirty mouth. :)

i'm SO GLAD we got to hang out this weekend! oh. wait. you never got back to me. i even brought your sarong home that you left in the trunk of my car. spontaneous trip to san diego yesterday for only 5 hrs: unexpected, fun, exhausting. and, i think, needed.

now it's off to a girls dinner. after that? BED. why you may ask? well i don't function well on less than 10 hrs. of sleep and last i checked 5.5 hrs. is 4.5 short of my standard. AND because tomorrow, in the words of a lovely friend, i can legally rent a car. and that's just weird.

Hi! We fly in late this Friday (6th) and stay in the LA area until Tuesday morning the 10th then we are goign to San Diego to spend the day/night and leaving Wednesday afternoon heading to Phoenix. We are going to be staying in the Hollywood area for two nights and Anaheim area for 2 nights. Going to the Angels game Monday night. Would love to see you, don't know exactly what our plans are for sure. Aaron is my tour guide. Disney at somepoint, that's his favorite place on earth. -

Yup, your disgustingly hot Bakersfield....I hear its nice though. It's pretty toasty in Santee too, so heat is not a new thing to me. But, yeah, I think it would be pretty stinkin' neat to move there. Jeremy knows some people who know some people...that kind of thing and you're there!!! So it would be great to start out somewhere that has other Christians we know. We shall see what happens!

how did you end up and Alabama fan? I have to admit, my family is split down the middle in terms of who cheers for what team, so I kinda like em' both, Auburn more so though. So I send full allegiance to the bulls first now!

At the Auburn/Bulls game last year (we were theere in Auburn) I TOTALLY cheered on the bulls and stil remind my dad of the beating.

justjoey said everything i was thinking. you are so incredibly wonderful, and so was your mother. not only was she spiritually strong despite so many health problems, but her faith in God never wavered. what a great example to all of us! i'm so sorry this has happened, but i also praise God that you and your family have Him in your life - because despite all of the pain you are feeling, He truly has the ability to bring you comfort when you need it most. you and your family are in my prayers, and i'll be home in a couple of days to give you a huge hug. i love you!
