Getting Thrifty
I'm starting to recall some of the more intelligent shopping decisions I used to be capable of. I'm sitting in the middle of a pile of books in "the office", realizing that I need several more bookcases (I have one). For some reason, it did not occur to me until recently to go "yardsaling" to get a few more. Today, for the first time in a long time, I visited a thrift store just to look around and see what they had to offer. Unfortunately, they had books, so I bought 3 more to add to the chaos! I'm really a sucker for the old books (1950's era). They're so quaint and usually safe to read! Someday, I will probably need wall-to-wall shelves.

Ok, normally I am not this busy. But somehow, my March and April this year are out of control. Mainly because one of my roommates is getting married on Apr. 28th, and there are showers, bridesmaids' luncheon, etc. And we also have a big Easter egg hunt for the kids at church one weekend, and lots of yard work to do before that. So, to sum up, I just looked at my calendar and conferred with the roommates, and basically I have the weekend of March 17th free. -
I know, picky, picky. After that, I don't think I have any set plans; these just happen to be my busiest months. And as far as where we meet, it doesn't matter to me. You and Alyson both have husbands; so I can probably be more flexible about that.

Kite flying sounds lovely! My girls would love to really try it - they run around with any old piece of string and pretend they are flying a kite. We'll have to learn the real way! -
