crazy fall days!

Hello world! I just had my first 2 week paid vacation and it was great! I needed a break from nursing for a little while. I didn't go anywhere or do anything really (that's the beauty of it!). I slept the first week, alsmost entirely, then the next 2 weeks (i work weekend nights, so i really had closer to 3 weeks off b/s i took 2 weekends off) i organized the whole apartment, put together an address book, and read a really good and helpful book about how to be a good wife called "Created to be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl. I think I'd really like to have a Bible study using this book.

Thank goodness fall is here! I can't wait to carve a pumpkin!! Matt has his eye on a pumpkin carving kit, but i don't think it should be that easy!

    Hi Sara! I'm glad you enjoyed your time off! When I get time off, I just like to stay home and get organized too! I feel so much better after that!

    Isn't "Created..." a wonderful book? There is actually a group here on pleo studying the book - see the "From His Rib" link on my blog. We'd love to have you join! We just started going through the book for the second time and we're on chapter 2.

    How great to have some time off! We are going to a pumpkin carving party this year- really looking forward to it :) What is in a carving kit? I didn't really know they even sold those.     You and Matt just made my children's day!!! Thank you so much for thinking of them, and coming all the way down to Spring Hill to deliver their care package. They enjoyed everything so much.
