Darkest of Times
It has been a while since I've visited this site. An update is in order...
I'm married, I lost my brother, regained my sister, lost all of my nice cars, and am going through bankruptcy. All of this happened in 09.
It appears that a lot of terrible events have transpired in my life. They stand out among the good. What appears to be a negative in our eyes is only the fear of not knowing, lack of understanding the situation, in our hearts to only witness a series of events that play out to our benefit.
"When one door closes, another is open to us."
In the darkest of times I have received many of blessings. When I was afraid, I received comfort. When I was saddened, I felt love. When I was stressed, I received relief. With all of the bad came something good. And sometimes, when something appeared to be something negative, it really turned around to be something very positive. It was during these times when I learned to think about the events happening in my life to rationalize the situation in order to see it for what it truly is.
I got married and afterward my brother passed away. During that time of loss I was not alone but with someone who loves me and held me during my mourning. And shortly after, for the first time in four years, my sister came to visit me and the whole family was reunited and has been since.
My "New" automobiles were repossessed, but I no longer have such a high bill that I must pay, and I am driving a car that I fully own, paid in full. I'm going through bankruptcy to relieve myself of all of this unnecessary debt that I accumulated over the years due to lack of responsible money management. All of this has taught me the proper way of managing my income so that my wife and I will have a fresh start and be financially stable.
These are the lessons that I've learned in my life in less than a year.
