Swine Flu
The latest info on the swine flu can be found here. As many of you know, my step-mom works for CDC and she emphasized the following:
- ALWAYS wash your hands. Especially after being outside in public and before touching your face. Try and carry some sort of disinfectant with you at all times.
- Try to avoid shaking hands.
- If possible stay 6 feet away from others in public.
- If you see someone with cold/flu symptoms don't stand next to them.
- Try to avoid crowded public places such as churches, subways, buses, airplanes, daycares, conferences, etc.
Basically, it's a lot of common sense stuff but it's important to be safe. European countries are even telling people not to travel to the US, Canada, or Mexico so it's not something to take lightly. I'm not saying stockpile your fridge and hide but do take the proper precautions.
