It's a long one...

Well, I think I'll tell y'all what I have been up to lately since it has been a while. ;)

Last week was lectures. They were amazing. They were all very good and encouraring. I liked the topic of the lectures, they were very helpful to me. I got to see lots of friends and meet lots of new people. And see one of my favorite men ~ Mr Peeler! I love that guy. He's great. =) I got to spend a lot of time with my lovely sis steph which was...yet again, lovely. =) So yes, I had a good time down in Florida.

Right now, I am over at my grams side of the house. I'm babysitting the little boy , James, down the road, who at the moment is very occupied talking to my gram about his little water balloon. So today for fun we went outside. James' favorite game in case you are wondering invloves star wars. Haha! He's quite obsessed with playing it. So..he we walked out our lane today and he was talking a lot..I have a hard time hearing everything he says just cause it's so much..however, i did hear this.." Lets play cinderella and clone wars. You be Cinderella and I will be your helper. " Now..just a thought but...since when did star wars and cinderella go together??? I decided to play along though, but it soon turned into both of us being agents with guns. That involved us both..running and yelling..jumping over things in the yard...ducking behind objects and rolling on the ground into a shooting position...and us both having lots of fun. Haha! I think thats like the first time I ever played a game like that...my usual when i was little was more like dollhouse and barbies. (steph and jordan can vouch for that one) So anyways....It was a very eventful day. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Continue to grow stronger in Him through everrything that you do.

hi melanie. thankyou soooooooooo much for studying with me today. i had alot of fun. we should do it more often. the dress you found sounds cute. i'll look at it and see if i like it. i probably will. i love polka dots. Friday at your house sounds great. i'll sleep over and go to the wedding on saturday and apparently i'm going home with luara. A Brief Look at My Winter Break

Well, I had an extremely long and wonderful break which I am very thankful for. It started off with Steph coming home with her boyfriend in tow. That's always fun! We did lots while they were here. Matt stayed for a few days, which included..mom and dad asking zilions of questions, decorating the christmas tree, making a very short trip to NYC which included Sarah and Jon taking us to Roger's apartment where Em was cooking a large dinner for a good amount of ppl; and attending the Sherman Ave services. (Always love going there.)

After Matt left, which was a week before christmas, it was time for some serious christmas shopping to get done!! I'm not a big shopper, but going out with steph and then with dad was loads of fun in my personal opinion. =p As christmas day approached, everything was pretty crazy, with lots of cleaning and such. On christmas we went to my mom's aunts, which was really nice. Had an amazing dinner and played a cool game. ;) The day after christmas was when we oppened presents at our house with all the fam. It was wonderful. That evening we went to the E.O. Gosple meetings. As we did the night after as well. Sunday we left for Indiana. lots of good studies there, road back with the works and stayed a lil while with the Maness family. After that Heather came for a few days and that was lots of fun!

So..there's lots more I could say but I won't bore y'all with details. ;) Hope everyone had a good, encouraging break. Grow stronger in Him.

Well...Today didnt start off very well. The fact that I had to go out and feed all the animals in 20 degree weather with the ground covered in ice and snow didn't help any either. Lol! My plan of action was to be as fast as possible. However..no. Of course it doesn't work like that. First..we keep our dogfood in this freezer thats outside; bad idea, cause now..the freezer has a layer of ice on the top and is frozen shut!! But..the worst thing was..I went to open the door so I could feed my ferret..and whadya know! the ice thats on the ground was to high and blocked it from oppening! Oiyy.. Wanna know what i did? I got a skrew driver, and sat out there for like..20 min trying to chisel the ice away from the door. =/ Let me assure you...its not fun. I will just say that the rest of my day has been...interesting. hehe!

Anyhow. It's almost christmas. Fun stuff. I hope you ppl down south are enjoying that warm weather! lol.

I hope everyone is staying strong in Him and growing continually with each day. Love you guys.

You had me laughing about the feeding not working as well as you wanted. Today I was hanging a piece of drywall in my bathroom that we're working on, and it was perfect. Well of course it couldn't be so I discovered that the light switch box had to be adjusted and it took me forever.
