Now for an update on my life:

Summer's been pretty good. I've been really busy, though. The first 3 weeks of the break I spent hosting a musical theater camp for elementary schoolers. We had SO much fun, and then the last day we performed on our porch for the parents. We were supposed to be able to use the little theater LHS but something went wrong with the reservation, so instead we hung paint tarps around the porch to make a background and curtains. The performance went SO well, and then my wonderful boyfriend put the final video, behind the scenes stuff, and a picture slideshow on a DVD for us. We WILL be making copies, if anyone's interested.

The last 2 weeks of June we had company in town. My Aunt Marsha and Aunt Marguerite(msp, i know) came in time to see the performance, and then my Grandma Dixie came for the fourth. In between the two I had my 15th birthday party. We all dressed up and went out to dinner, then to walmart, still in costume. We got plenty of odd looks, but we had tons of fun...

On the fourth of July we went to the festival at Milburn Park. I won a free I-pod shuffle, but I can't seem to make it work. Anyone know how??? Seems weird, coming from someone who can normally expiriment to a solution...

Second week of July I started work. The plan is that all summer long if I'm not baby-sitting, I'll be working at a jewelery store doing data entry work. It's easy work, just excruciatingly tedious. But I need all the funds I can get so that hopefully next summer I can go to Italy with my Latin class.

Next week is FC camp! I can't wait! I love going. And this year the twins are coming too. I'M SO EXCITED!!!

The weekend of August 8th we'll be up in California because my cousin Jason is getting married to his fiance, Kimi. I haven't seen Kimi in a really long time, so I'm very very VERY excited. I love weddings!

As busy as this summer has been, I've had unbelievable fun, and it's not over yet! So how are all of YOUR summers going???

Been REAL busy...

It has been brought to my attention that I was REALLY rude in the rant of my last post. That wasn't targeted at any of you, but i'm REALLY sorry...

I'd post something totally cool, but my life is pretty boring. Actually, it's not, but what is happening I can't talk about till later.

Last night Lily and I went to see night at the museum two with some friends. It was good, but the first one was better, and there were some words in this one...annoying when they do that, no..?

I got a complement tonoight from someone who doesn't give them often. I'm feeling very happy :)

We're going to see Angels and Demons on Monday!!! I'm so excitied! I read the book, and it was SO good. Emma already saw it, and she told me what's different, but it should still be good. But I can't believe they took out the sky-diving scene. And Vittoria's kidnapping. Those were the best parts! But at least they left in the dominoes scene. That should be really cool :)

hey...sorry i haven't really updated...it's funny, cos life was actually really exciting when I was grounded, and now that I'm not, life is boring and I can't seem to remember any of the exciting things that happened while I was grounded. But here goes...

Matt and Evie and Emma(from school) got facebook! Whoo!

I cleaned my room; ACTUALLY CLEANED IT! Amazing, no? ya

I finished my totally awesome punny project. If you like Phantom of the opera, or just like really funny puns, leave me a comment to send my project to you.

My friend courtney has cerebral palsy, and she had a seizure at school one day. We had been learning about REM sleep in health, so when she fell asleep and her eyes started twitching, I thought, "Oh, man! I actually get to see REM!" Then my teacher thried to wake her up and she didn't. When the word "seizure" drifted through my ears, I began to panic. It didn't help that whn they moved her into a wheel chair, her arms remained crossed over her face as they had been on the desk. But she woke up in the nurses office, and sent someone to tell us she was ok, and that this is a relatively frequent occurance. Whew! But still REALLY scary...

Another friend of mine is having boy issues, but I won't get into that now. That requires a whole other post...

So, I wanted to take a moment to say, that I am really annoyed. See, a few months ago, I was having a problem with someone. When the occurance was over, I found myself in a state of despair. I talked to most of my "christian friends", at church and at school, and got no help whatsoever! Sure, I got alot of "Oh, you poor thing!"s, and "He had no right to do that to you"s, but all these people, who are SUPPOSED to be my brothers and sisters in christ, offered not one verse to help me! I spent months unable to focus on anything els. My grades went down, and I was just really hard to be around.
Then we had a lesson at church, where Roger was talking about when paul's ship crashed on the way to rome. What stood out to me, was the verse where it talks about them throwing out unnecessary items to lighten the load. "Hey," I thought. "This applies to ME! I don't need to dwell on this! I can just throw it overboard and forget about it!
SO now it's all over, no thanks to you. Those of you who I didn't talk to, none of this applies to you. Thankyou for bearing my rant.

I probably won't be on pleo or facebook for awhile...Although I tried desperatly hard and studied all weekend, I still got a 60 on my math test. So mom is resitricting me. sigh... Oh well... time to put my entire life on hold for six weeks... Maybe the publishers breathing down my nek about a deadline won't kill me...

My boyfriend left this morning for his cruise. I won't see him for 2 whole weeks, Won't be able to email him for 6 weeks, with this new restriction, which means that I will see him a total of 12 days this six weeks.

Hope yall have a good six weeks!
