I was going to wait until June 4th to post, b/c then it would be five months since my last post. But I decided to go a week early. I rarely get on Pleonast. I don't have too much time to post.

But alas...not too much is new. I am STILL searching for jobs...yes, I have been out six months now. But I do have security at my job now, so it's not like I am sitting around and twiddling my thumbs. I have had a few interviews here and there, but in the words of U2 "I still haven't found what I'm looking for."

I am trying to be patient. I know the right job will come around eventually. But my time is drawing near. My lease runs up at the end of June...so my goal is to have a job by then. We shall see. I was also looking to get out of Nashville, but it looks as if I may still be around for a while. I wanted a change, but I can be patient a few more years. Who knows? Nashville is a great city. I'm not complaining. I just want to experience other places in my lifetime.

I am going to Jamaica in 25 days for my wonderful roommate's wedding!! I cannot wait. A vacation will be wonderful.

Well, that's all for now I suppose. I must get back to searching the internet for communications/PR jobs. Wish me luck.

I am very fortunate and very blessed for my current circumstances concerning work. For the past two years, I have been working at a health care company (Ascent Partners) in Green Hills. I finished my internship last week at Dell. Ascent asked me last week to work full-time until I find a job. And they are giving me a raise and benefits! So now I am not stressing out about finding a job. I am definitely going to keep looking. But now I have the time to be patient and wait for the right position to open up.

Thanks to God for looking out for me.

Job-hunting is not fun...

So it's been a long time. I'm sorry. I rarely get to get on. I just bought a MacBook laptop on Friday, so I can now get on a little more. (but don't hold me to that)

A lot has happened since I last posted:
- Nov. 10 - 14: Salt Lake City for a PR conference. Networked with one of the communications managers for Limited Brands in Columbus, OH.

- Nov. 23: Miss Milly's (my beautiful niece) first birthday!! Also Thanksgiving day.

- Dec. 16: Graduation from Lipscomb University!! B.A. in Public Relations

- Dec. 19: My 22nd birthday! I also went to Columbus, OH to meet with the communcations manager from Limited Brands. Great networking opportunity.

- Dec. 25: Christmas day. A sad day when I said goodbye to my dear Uncle Charlie.

- Jan. 1: first day of 2007...crazy. Has another year already passed?

Okay so here I am now. I am still interning at Dell as well as working at the medical company. Both places have said that I can work with them until I find a job.

I finally bought a computer so now I can search for jobs...because I don't think it's proper etiquette to search for jobs at work.

I am fascinated with corporate communications and would love to get a job with a reputable corporation one day. Now I just need to find the right PR job that will be my stepping stone for my career path.

I shall try to get on more now that I am finished with school. But I cannot guarantee that I will get on everyday. =0)

I am spending my sad, unfortunate Friday night stuck in my apartment. I was supposed to be in Cincinnati visiting my sister. But instead I am stuck here b/c my car decided to start making loud, grinding noises and is now sick and at the Saturn dealership.

I'm sad b/c I haven't seen my sister since June. And now i won't get to see her until graduation in December.
