100th Post

As I sit here, on the eve of our wedding, many things run through my mind. Most of all is the fact that I am so blessed in so many ways.

In a little more than 13 hours, I will receive the biggest blessing the Lord has given me in my life. The blessing of a wife, a wonderful, worthy woman to be my help meet.

I am so glad it is you. I thank God for you and I look forward to our future in His service.

New beginnings call for new blogs. In the future, you will be able to find me here when perusing the 'Nast.

God bless you all . . . pray for us . . .

What a fantastic wedding--it had the "wow" factor, but most importantly, the messages, the words you said to each other, the way you integrated your loving parents...the way you guys helped make the guests feel at home. It was great, and it made me sad to leave so early.

I saw one of those at the mall in Knoxville when I went to get my tux measurements taken. I stopped to look, but there was no stats or technical information, and I hate being in malls longer than I have to, so I didn't linger.

C: Ohhhh, just like a bolt for a case!
P: Yes ma'am.
C: Ha ha! That's funny!

Yes, ma'am. You're very clever. No one has ever come up with that one before. The only thing that would have been funnier is if you had said "its like a case of bolts!". That one slays me every time . . .

I love hearing about these last names. Half of them I never even think about. How about hearing your whole life about how you were the only woman that could call herself a "Mann." One of my teacher called me Becky "Wo" Mann. My grandad is the best because he jokes about turning my Nana into a "Mann".
