Lol, so i forgot i even had a pleo :P

Well, I'm at bethany college now. Currently hangin in my dorm, forcing myself to stay up so i'll be tired enough to sleep tonight. And i ate almonds but they made me hungrier. that doesn't seem quite right?

First classes tomorrow--religion and college writing. The religion class outghta be crazy, the Bible they assigned us has 18 new books added to it i'd never heard of. we'll see how this goes.

I'm'a going to Washington!!

why? National 4-H conference!! I'm alil excited, can you tell? I'll be leaving this Saturday, and coming back next Thursday. I have the day off work tomorrow so I can pack and rest up a little bit--still a bit sick, I ache all over like somebody beat me up. Hopefully that'll be going away very soon. :)

got a whole listfull of errands to run for mom today, plus I need to go dress shopping--as far as I know I'll be the Parkersburg easter parade a week from Saturday, and I need some kind of nice springtime dress. I'm pretty sure I'll have a hard time finding one, cause short dresses are the style this year, and I'm already so tall that most dresses are too short anyway :P Wish me luck.

My next week is gonna be crazy crazy crazy--conference until Thursday, on Friday I have Americorps training in Charleston, and saturday is the parade. We'll be carpooling to training thought, so I'll at least be able to sleep in the car, lol. I'll be so worn out from conference, every night lights out is at 11:45, and I'm used to going to sleep at 9:30 or so...yeah. Sleep deprivation is in my future. oh well. It's 4-H, it'll be fun! There will be like 200 kids there from all over the country. There are four from WV, and I've never met any of the other three, other than just for a few minutes when we all had to interview for our conference applications in July. It's gonna be great :) I'll take lotsa pictures, lol.

    Good modest dresses can be hard to find. I have a white with blue flowers and jacket (from banquet a couple years ago)....found it at Belk I think and it did have to be altered a tiny bit but not too much.

    Sounds like fun! :) A benifit of being short is I can get skirts and dresses that are supposed to be above the knee that come halfway down my calf. Very very nice... ;) hope you find a nice dress

    That sounds really fun! =] I hope you find a nice dress too! =] I have the same terrible problem.
    I wear mostly smalls in everything, then I go to find a dress and being 5'6'' that's truly impossible to find one modest enough. So my choices are way to big, or way to short. =P You should post the pics up on here whn you get them! ;)

Good and Bad

Good-Chad came to see me

It finally quit snowing.

I got to go running the last four days.

Work has gotten better.

Bad--My very first horse died a week ago Saturday. I miss you Barbie girl :(

Killer the fish died yesterday.

My birthday party got snowed out.


Oh well. It could be alot worse, I won't complain :)

Guess what! I'm a year older now! Wednesday was Katie's 19th birthday, and her birthday party/dinner thingy for her family is this Sunday. :) wheee, fun.

Also this weekend, the Chad is coming, to the chagrin of the poor Baby Brother. He loves to whine whenever Chad comes, but he doesn't fool me, they get along just fine. We're going bowling if we can get the necessary parental permissions. Also Teen Bible Study! We'll see you guys there. And I'm gonna get out the horses and sled for a ride, cause Chad's never been sledding my way. Fun!

Speaking of sledding and fun, if you've never sledded behind a 4-wheeler, YOU HAVE NOOOOO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE MISSING!!!! It stinkin' rocks! Two people of the bike and one on the sled and you can just go at it! Jake likes to lose you by slinging you off in the snow, but it was still way fun :)
