I became a grandmother for the first time 8 years ago today!! What a joy it has been over the years! Happy Birthday, Nathan! May you have 100 more! I love you!!

Finely home from the trip and I'm so tired! We had an awesome time and one of the best cruises yet but we did so much walking and EATING, I'm trying to recover!! Key West, Florida, where we para-sailed and shopped till we dropped! It was unbelievable to glide over 300 feet in the air above the ocean!! Next came Freeport, Bahamas. We were not real impressed with this island except for the water and beaches. We did however, get to swim with the dolphins which was increadible !!! I really don't like wet suits but we would not have been able to get in the water with the dolphins without them. The water was COLD!!! Getting out of the wet suits was so funny! We had to peel each other out of them while laughing so hard and nearly missed our bus back to the ship! Next came Nassau, Bahamas... We didn't book any excursions here but we did take a tour of the island (3 hours) which included Atlantas!!!That was really beautiful!! The most expensive room in this hotel is $25,000 per night! Nicholas Cage spent 4 nights there right before he filed bankruptcy!! Also drove past some of the beautiful homes!! We tried to get the tour guide to take us to see where Anna Nicole Smith was buried but he said it was in a private place that no one was allowed. I'll see if Jennifer can post pictures later. We had a great time and ate way too much on the ship but it was really good to get home. I missed the kids and grandkids so much but I think I really needed this trip. So relaxing and stress-free! Can't wait for the next one!!!
That's about it for now, got to get ready for church!!!

We're leaving in the morning and heading to Baytown first to worship at Goosecreek C of C with my sis and best friend, then on to Galvaston for our week long cruise to the Bahamas! I'm so excited because as many cruises as I've been on, I've never been to the Bahamas and this is TeriLee's first cruise! I'll be taking lots of pictures and will post some of them when we get back-hope I don't chicken out on the parasailing!!! I think we're gonna try to swim with the dolphins too! Dolphins are so cute...they're not dangerous are they?? Oh well, please keep us in your prayers.

I'm really excited about going to a concert tomorrow afternoon in the Woodlands! For those of you around my age, you might remember The Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, Jefferson Starship, Foghat, Eddy Money, and War! ALL of them together, all day! It starts at 12:45 so we're going to worship with the church in the Woodlands. I don't know my way around that area but I have the church's address so I'll have to map it!
The only thing I hate is that I'll miss the grandkids trick or treating tonight! I'm driving down to Dayton this evening to stay with my best friend!!!!!!! But, I'm sure my girls will take lots of pictures of the kids. I've already seen them in costume at the Halloween party!!!
