Sadly the “black and gold” lost Friday night to Hanover 9-14

So far Penn State is 2-1 having lost to Ala-stinking-bama who is ranked #1 in the nation.

And in the NFL Pittsburgh won it duel with Atlanta 15-9. If you are Chris Johnson, start running, because Troy Polamalu, James Harrison, Casey Hampton, Lamar Woodly, and the whole rest of the gang has their sights aimed right between your eyes!

I said that I would write about camp so now I will

My teachers were more than amazing. My Favorites were Simon Harris, Paul Earnhart, and Bob Waldron.

The singing was….simply beyond words. Never before have I seen a group of people latterly shake a cinderblock building. Never before has the singing been so intense that I couldn’t hear my own voice. I have never been part of a group that loved God so much.

The best example of how intense the singing was, is that you could see veins clearly on almost everybody’s neck because they were singing that hard.

The third and least important part of camp was…. Anyone want to guess?.... the football!!!

I have found that there are few feelings like playing defensive lineman, because there is nothing better then knocking guys flying, unless it is seeing the fear in the quarterbacks eyes when he knows that he can not get away from you.

When reading the Psalms one struck me even though it has nothing to do with football

Psalm 144:1-2 “Blessed be the God that trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.”

Oh good! Philip will be glad to hear that Paul Earnhart was there! He was afraid Mr. E wouldn't be there and was lamenting the fact that you should miss out on his teachings
