Changes

I am a little lousy at keeping this up. It is much easier to share short, quippy stories and quotes from the kids than to try to write a narrative.. :) That and almost all my friends have migrated off of here.. so I mostly just like to keep up with who all is left, presuming they don't care as much about the minute details of MY life as I do about theirs!!

Anyway, if anyone didn't know yet, Williams baby #3 (and #4, Eden insists) is on the way. We are looking at a mid-to-late July arrival. My first summer baby! This will be fun. :) Eden suggested to me yesterday that I should have 10 children, but judging from the piercing screaming I heard while I was trying to take a relaxing shower this morning... I am not sure I will be taking her advice. ;)

That's about it!
  • split_rock
You can have as many children as you have -- and Eden can pick up where you leave off.

Oh, I hadn't heard! Congratulations!! I really would like to find a way to come up there so we could see what it'll be like to get Eden and Kaia together. :-)

I had heard, but congrats, if there is any consolation I have it on reliable source the dirt, noise, chaos level, never gets any worse after 3. But we decided to stop at "just right" and in the words of Mary Poppins "enough is as good as a feast"

I heard through the grapevine. Not sure which one. Congratulations! I announced to my dearest when we discussed children before we were married that I wanted to have 10 children. (I was one of two siblings and had such wishful thoughts about more siblings!) I don't think my husband believed me when I said I wanted that many children! We didn't quite make it to 10, but we are tickled with those that the Lord blessed us with.

Boy, that was an old post!

Here are some newer pictures for those of you who don't use Facebook! The kids keep growing.. making me laugh and cry and shake my head in wonder each day. I wish I were more of a story-teller, but there you have it. Just trying to count my blessings and not let the stress get to me!

Thanks for such great comments, Becca! I personally do not have a problem keeping up appearances (I've been known to have folks come over for supper an hour after a small basement flood happened!), or having spotless house, but after Isaac was born, I, too, was just so exhausted--physically and emotionally.

You said that you don't know how I can live without cheese, well, I don't know how you live with all of those crazy food allergies for your poor, poor son! I guess as moms when something needs to happen, we just figure out a way, huh? :) And yay for bananas! Such a toddler-friendly food and so convenient for travel. It will be NICE to have them back in the repertoire, I'm sure!

I feel you. This was one of the worst Sundays in my memory. I took out the boys 5 times in the span of about 20 minutes this morning. Tonight wasn't much better. They were NUTS today! Daniel, sweetly went to the store to get me a soy cheese pizza because he felt so sorry for me.

Mostly Levi

Eden is blossoming in such a lovely way and Levi keeps getting bigger and bigger! At his 4(andahalf) month check-up he was 28 inches long and 18 pounds, 7 ounces! Now remember, that's basically how much Eden weighed at a year.. :) I am working hard every day to not take these wonderful blessings for granted, but Levi is turning out to be not-a-good-sleeper-#2 for our family, although Eden is really really well lately. Today Levi took a wonderfully uninterrupted 2.5 hour nap (he's slept about 30 minutes at a time for the past 2 weeks!), so I got some much needed Bible study/prayer/cleaning time in. He's trying to sit up on his own but still can't handle much of any weight on those chubby little legs of his. :) I love watching him grow!

These are almost a month old, so hopefully we'll have some new ones soon!

  • mrs_worm
I think I see more Eden in him now... He is SOO cute - and so much HAIR!

if he is extra sensitive (my Thomas was) you can try clarified butter (you can even make it yourself - just google for directions) with should have 100% of the proteins removed. Hope it helps! It made a HUGE difference for Thomas! He really was like a completely different kid!

You are so right. It is like any other tool and must be used properly. I am concerned about the identity theft aspect, I have heard of people stealing childrens names off of the blogs, then building identities around them and by the time the child is a teen their whole lives have been stolen and ruined. Hence the code names used by some parents when referring to the kids. Miss you kiddo. Hoooogs

It was absolutely hilarious watching the CBS guy trying to film as he walked across the street. He kept getting honked at and flipped off. The thing is that it's a special zebra strip where pedestrians have the right of way so cars have to stop.

I talked to Heewee yesterday. I was telling Amos about the baseball glove, ball, and bat that I bought him. His reply: "Oh", "Oh" and "I see" He is such a little Mocking Bird. It is HILARIOUS to watch him mimic Aaron in mannerisms and voice inflections. I suppose the kids do that with you and Phillip huh?

Hey!! I can not believe how big your kids have grown!!! They're so precious, and I'm so happy for you!!!

We just moved to Florida a month ago, so a lot of people are still finding out about it :) It seemed that just when people found out we were in SC is when we moved to Florida, haha. Tim went to SC for a preacher-training thing with his dad for an agreed 4 months. Though we ended up staying 6 months because it took time to find a church hiring a preacher :)

HAHAHA! We don't. And he does eat dirt. And dandelions. And compost. We do try to discourage it, but we don't get too upset when it happens. Anyway dandelions are full of nutrients. He's just exploring his world and some dirt won't hurt him.

I've discovered that I'm really not much of a blogger... :) I do get on and read every day!

Here are some more photos for those of you not on Facebook. Levi is growing so fast.. roughly 15 pounds a week before he turns 2 months and around 25 inches long. We'll see what his official measurements are next week at his checkup!

and Caitlyn is moody about fixing her hair -- today she wanted ponytails, only to take them out in the car before we ever got to daycare, wouldn't let me put them back in or put in a hair barrette - so she had "crazy hair day", too bad that was the special day at school a couple weeks ago and not today. :)

I really regret missing out on your wedding too...I can't remember what was going on now but I do remember being there one week before your wedding. aww too cute! thanks for the picture! I'm saving it. I don't know if you need any 18 month stuff or anything else, but I've got a couple things I'm going to be putting up for sale. I have a crib toy - a fish that has a mirror and attached little toys things, it lights up and plays music and a few 18 month play clothes (can't remember if summer or winter - maybe both). I also probably have some 3T girl stuff to list - play clothes and some shoes (size 7 to 8.5 or so??) I'll let you know when I post it so you won't miss it.

You can do it! I did my first 10k 5 months after Charlotte was born, though I cheated and started back running 4 weeks after she was born. But don't do that! It was foolish and can cause all sorts of problem. :)

Yes, it sort of melts when you heat it up and it will be just liquid. I find that the gelatinous kind (when cold) is richer and more flavorful. If you want it to be more liquid, you can mix it with water, but I like the more concentrated version. HTH! Oh and I have no idea why it didn't do it before. Mine nearly always congeals when chilled.
