RACHEL'S ON BOARD!

Well, I finally got around to getting one of these things set up. How goes it with all of you people out there? Everything's great here. Just getting ready to start a new semester and hopefully do much better than the previous one. (I beg of you, don't ask.)
I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a happy new year. I look foward to talking to all of you in the future. From what I've seen and heard, especially from Meredith, I think I am going to enjoy having another way to keep in touch with the people I love and wanna to be the closest to.
I wish you all of the best and I hope that you will do me the same. Most importantly, remember that I'm always here for you no matter what! Happy 2008! May the Lord bless you and keep you!

Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year's, too. And what you've heard is true: pleonast is man's greatest invention, able to fulfill and surpass all your wildest dreams and leave you with a sweet feeling of contentment and even keep your toes warm at night.

Hey everybody. Spent the day with Laura and her friend, (now my friend, too) Kendall. They were playing in the pep band at Wallace State during some basketball games. They did well because Wallace State won both times. Unfortunately, my high spirits were brought low when I came home tonight. A very good friend of my family's but me especially, Mrs. Mary Griffin, passed away this week. She was ready to go though. She had a lived a long life full of service to the Lord. She was a wonderful role model and a great person to talk to. She could always make you laugh. We will miss her but we are happy that she is a better place with God. Please keep us and the family in your prayers as well as others who will be suffering and mourning the passing of such a lovely Christian lady.

Well, the time has come. It's been six long years and now I'm finally having some serious testing done to see if anything can be changed to improve my status with my epilepsy. I go in for an MRI tommorrow morning and then check in to UAB Hospital. Fun, fun, fun. I'm hoping some good will come out of this, though. I would really like to know why I've had the disease for so long. I wasn't born with it . I didn't hit my head or have any other kind of injury to cause it. It just showed up. Life is funny that way, isn't it? Granny's down here staying with my dad while he recovers from his pnmeumonia (Man, that's a hard word to spell!) while I am in the hospital. She and my mom are going to take turns staying with me until I come home on Monday. I'm a little nervous considering how nerve-wracking my last hospital stay was, but, then again, that one wasn't planned. I know I can count on all of you, my closest and dearest friends out there to be praying for me, and I those of you who have already told me you would. Now lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best!
