i kind of forgot about this thing, but here i am to update everyone a little.

here's what's been going on since my last post (which i'm not even sure what it says ...)
- i moved back to pa. i drove 15 hours straight and then didn't sleep for another night. i was quite exhausted by time i finally hit a pillow.
- i've made lots of new and amazing friends. we're getting sweatshirts made for christmas because we're losers like that. they're a great bunch of people.
- i'm in the process of planning my wedding. it's going to be november next year. this thrills my soul.
- i just went dress shopping today! 'twas great and i'm super happy with what i've found.
- i cut all my hair off again and i colored it red (which just so happens to be my new nickname) and it looks phenom.
- my best friend and i reconnected. i love when that happens! we're closer than we've ever been and have really been going crazy with it.
- maggie is out of commission :-( that's right ... i'm no longer driving the BEST car ever. poor thing.
- i won the lottery! just kidding. that would be nice, though, considering i don't play and all.
- my little sister gets married next month. i couldn't be happier for her.

there's one more bit of good news, but i'm going to wait to share that until i can add more detail.

Ray, it was lovely reading your happy update. Congratulations on getting married next November. Yay for already finding your dress!! Wedding planning is fun stuff. Did you know I got married?? I married Kevin Engel - he's in the air force and we live in Texas now :).

Hey! So glad you're back on here!!! =D I've missed you! I'm so glad thing are going good for you. That's so cool you've found your wedding dress! Pleas please post pictures!! =D Your "I won the lottery!" took me by surprise for a split second. That's hilarious =P Life's good for me. I'm having a little trouble in school but I'm working on getting everything straightened out. Jen is graduating this next semester and I'm not going to let her get any more ahead of me than she is already. =P Also, I've met this awesome guy at school. His name is Leandro. He's Cuban which is pretty cool. He's pretty much my best friend at school now and I'm working on trying to get a Bible study with him. He actually came to church with me in September when we were having a meeting.

We finally finished moving into the new place. All that's left now is lots of unpacking, weeding/mowing, cleaning and organizing (yes, I consider that different from cleaning).
It's absolutely amazing here. I can't wait till we get everything fixed up and I can start showing it off. :)

Work is going amazingly well. I seriously work out 8 hours a day. I'm super tan and incredibly healthy and I absolutely love it.

Oh, this is some fun news. A friend of mine manages a party bus business and he asked me last night to paint the logo on his buses. That's right - my art AND my NAME will be on four different buses. I'm super excited and absolutely thrilled.

All other aspects of my life are going well, too. I'm in a really good place right now. It's awesome. :)

How are y'all doing?

P.S. - Everyone vote for Adam Lambert! He's PHENOMINAL!

I'm going back to school!
I starting filling out the FAFSA last night and I have appointments with 3 people on campus today about filling out applications, financial aid, and a career profile.
I couldn't be more thrilled!

I also have an interview today for a new job.
I'll have to drive an hour to work every day but I'll be making substantially more than I am now, so I'm thinking it's definitely worth it.

In other news, things are pretty chill.
I hope y'all are doing okay.

MY HOUSE BURNED DOWN!
It was dramatic. It was smokey. It was scary.
I lost everything.
Everything except the clothes on my back, my phone (which I had on me at work when it happened), my camera (which was in my purse in my car), my dogs and the cat (which my roommate successfully rounded up ((though the cat got singed and then soaked after they sprayed him with the fire hose ...)) and got out of the place), and all the people I love (thank goodness everyone made it out safely!)!

I'm staying with some friends until we can move into the new house I mentioned in my previous post.

Between the 7 moves, the loss of a good friend, the rocky road in my spiritual life, the car accident and my house burning down, my move to Texas has proven to be an eventful one.

Thank God I had a dramatic upbringing and can handle all this with a smile on my face! :)

In other news, I'm getting a house. We move in on May 2nd.
Work is awesome. We have a corporate visit on Thursday, so I'm definitely going to have to put my game face on.
I'm hoping to get a new car in the nearish future. That should thrill Nik, who gets Maggie whenever I get a new one. Happy Birthday. Ha.
Gus and I got pizza last night and one of my 5 dogs ate it. I was angry. I smacked her. I don't think she cared.
I was taking some friends downtown the other night and my tire exploded. EXPLODED! So I had to replace it and the new one was free. All I paid was an $8 warranty on it.
Nice.

Okay, I suppose that's going to suffice for the next 3 months. Ha!

Oh, let me clarify! "(but not too too soon)" means El Quatro is in our plans for the future. It does NOT mean I'm expecting right now.
