All these posts about the sovereignty of God and how it doesn't matter who the president is reflect at best an attitude like the fox that couldn't get the grapes and at worst a fundamental misunderstanding about the nature of reality. This "Christ against culture" attitude has got to stop. Is God the God of Jews only? Or is he also the God of Gentiles?

On another note, if the positions were reversed and it were a confessing Mormon in the democratic party and a confessing evangelical christian in the republican party, I guarantee the right would have made it clear just how far Mormonism is from Christianity.

Let's be clear. Both sides were trying to win and they were both using the tools available to manipulate the vote. If you aren't thinking, the things you value become another tool of manipulation. Go back, read Habakkuk. And let's leave the kindergarten theology discussion Job's friends were mired in.
