So this may be taken out of context but i have gone back to Florida college and joined my beloved Phi Sigma Chi. ( phi sigma jigga wut:) I am really excited to be back at Florida College for many reasons but here are a few that i can say and people know what i mean by it:)
1) the atmosphere is always electric during any college wide meeting. the organization meeting last night....Oh man...it was an exhilirating evening until the end.:)
2) the people are one of a kind- it took me this summer to figure out what to do about school and once i made my decision i have not regretted it at all.
3) the society interaction/ competitiveness is also something that can not be overlooked.


Anyways back to the "educational" side of things. my classes have been going really well. I start at 815 with Philosophy, then go into epistles before chapel, Once i chapel ends i go to American history, i have an hour break and i am able to either chill out and just listen to music while eating lunch or i can do some more studying; However, it only lasts for about 30 min because then i go change out my books and get materials together for western civilizations, college algebra and then my wind down time occurs with bowling. I get to either relax, stress-relive myself or even possibly be competititve. These classes occur Mon, Wed, and Fri; while on Tues and Thurs i am able to study, pick up shifts, or as of now participate in society events. My first test is on Monday for College algebra, i have a quiz in Western Civ on Fri, and i have a paper due in a week so i am going to be relatively busy which is going to be exciting for me because the first few grades of the semester for different classes are happening all together so prayers for that are appreciated. but while asking for those preparational items but also lift up praises for me because i am very blessed; and the following things are what i have been blessed with in the past few years that were just given to me not out of pity but out of love and a cheerful heart.
Blessing number one is while my parents are down in Key Largo, fl so dad can work they have decided to keep the house and allow me to stay in it.
Blessing #2- I have friends and family and other random people that i have contact with making little examples for me and many other people to follow and am able to learn an extreme amount which leads to me being stronger as a person, but more importantly as a christian should.
Blessing #3 i have a support system from those mentioned above that can not beat anything else in this world. The only thing that could top it is God himself; and witht hat being said he does have a plan for me, he has a plan on what my life is going to go. We are given free-will however he does have a plan to allow us different opportunities and becaus eof this free-will no decision is wrong however one way will lead to a path that is not easy and the other is one that allows Him to really work in my life or someone else's life. He is an awesome God and for that i have so many blessings that i haven't even touched but i know are there because of his promises.
I know that was a soap box(tangent) whatever it be but i hope you understand what i was getting at:) The song while typing this that came to my head was "For you have Promised". Well i must get back to studying but i will keep you all informed of everything that is going on and how those assignments, tests, papers, and quizzes went once i get the grades back:)

Hello peoples. Well after the ever so eventful summer in Lake wales, fl. i am back in tampa. So thankful to have had the opportunity to be out there but even more thankful that it is over with and i am back at Applebees....well....for now anyways. Since being back i have had a chance to look at a few different places to start a career with; one example being roadmaster driving school. I was looking at going into driving but then it got shot down by several people and probably for very good reasons yet to be seen i have agreed with them. So then i started all over again to try and figure out how to work, go to school, and get my life where i ultimately want it by the time i am 30. So (drum rolll please) I have taken this past week to evaluate everything from the time i graduated til now, from the different jobs i have held, as well as what kind of friends i have been around. I have talked to florida college and have been re-enrolled into the school, with a full time schedule as well as working full time and am on my way back to where i wanted to be three years ago:) I now have a plan that i can stick with and as long as i am sticking to it and not wavering in my decision then i will be where i want to be as soon as it is humanly possible. With that being said praise that i am able to go back to school and also prayer requests for me to be able to keep my focus where it needs to be and the doubts are very minimal:) Well for now i am down however i will try and post more frequently:) Love you all and leave me some info on how you all are doing:)

Over the previous 3-5 months i have been contemplating on working at a scout summer camp or if i should stay in tampa. During that time period i have also decided to accept it and so i will be in Lake Wales, Fl from tomorrow thru july 31ST. I will be working in the dining hall as the manager/steward whatever you want to call it:) My responsibilities are very basic. I will be in charge of about 5-8 people just making sure that they know how to stock paper goods, clean dishes, refill drinks and make sure they keep a clean building. which means once they get to where they know the drill before and after every meal they either have some down time or they have time to help Mrs. heather who is the cook for the summer. The past month i have taken several days driven out to the camp and assisted in setting up the green military tents for the scouts to come out and help put up. That is a huge task and am very appreciative of the help that i have been able to have, and also to be to the people in charge so they dont have to all of that by themselves. Well i will probably be posting in august when i get back so until then ttfn, tata for now:)

Well about a month and half to two months ago i was talking with mom and dad about trying to find time to come down to see their house and to just see them. Well the time has come and i drove down and after a looooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! drive i finally made it:) I am down here with troy and kelton and mom and dad just relaxing and then nothing really scheduled:) but thats it for now and i will post more later but peace to all:)

Last night i got to work and i was told that i would be ACL. (See previous posts if you don't know what ACL is:) When i arrived i had a table ask me if we have any filet's. (i am assuming the were asking about Filet Mignon:(). I told him we didn't carry any but our New York strip is pretty tender...then his wife decided to say do you all have that one big salad that was shown on t.v.....?.....Uh..I have many different salads is there one specific that you are interested in? No that big salad they showed on T.v Do you all have it? i suggested one salad to act like maybe i knew which salad she was looking for...it wasn't but i got there drinks and took care of them and then when they went to leave the lady had signed the receipt and i was taking care of another table and the lady persisted that she had left money on the table as well and about five minutes after i had cashed them out and gave them back the gift card she finally left after realizing, hopefully (lol), that she had not left any money on the table. First incident of the night...the second one was when i put a order in there were 4-5 other people on and the phone was off the hook for the next like hour and half just consistent ringing for to go orders...people would walk around ignore the phone and just let it ring for 5 minutes or more...it was very annoying becaus ei would answer some of the time but we weren't even that busy. Well one time this person answered the phone and while on the phone looked at me and asked "What are the sides that go with that dish?" SOAP BOX TIME: How can you be at a restaurant for 2 maybe even 3 months and not know the menu?!?!?!?!?!?! I can understand if we just changed the menu and it is a new dish...i would need to make sure i am knowledgable and know what i am talking about so i can better serve my customers/guests:) BUT a common dish that she has taken orders for the same exact thing for the last two months!?!?!?!?!?!? What in the world? Did this person really take a stupid pill before coming into work? Sad part is i think she does is unintentionally and if she looked from the outside she would be like wow let me know my menu a little better....I have tolerance for someone new (meaning within 2 weeks) but if you have been here longer than a month you need to know what you are talking about. People will understand being new at something with in reason. they will not have sympathy for stupid!!! That is very mean to say but i am being honest. I get tips not only because of my personality and somewhat decent looks, but i get tipped and commented on positively by doing the best i can and the most aware of what my table may want or need....SOAP BOX OVER NOW:) Thank you for reading so far. I am just not smart enough to understand the lack of intelligence and awareness by people that have maybe one of the easiest but sometimes the most tedious jobs ever. I think the only easier job would be staying at home and watching movies and doing nothing... TOTAL HONESTY:)

Other then those two stories life is good i completed my paperwork for now for St. Leo Univ. to look at so i am just waiting to here back and find out what the say:) Prayers are coveted because this is a school i really have looked at hard and want to go there but i want the best choice possible as well:) Take care and talk to you all soon:)
