Since I'm on FB now, I forget to check pleo. But, here are some updates.
We are all doing good. Our grandson is three and our granddaughter is 1. They are absolutely precious and I love spending
time with them. It's fun seeing how they grow, interact with each other. They are the best! Their parents are right up there too.
During these tough times, we are so happy and blessed that the husband and all three children have jobs.
Finally, we are down to 17 days before Lindsay gets married. Wow! Having just got engaged in November, it seems like these
past few months have just flown by. Everything has fallen right into place; she found her wedding dress at the first bridal shop within
an 1 1/2 hr, was able to go to an Open House for the venue (which she loved and decided that's where to wedding should be) and meet vendors and was able to settle and visit only one florist, 2 bakeries and decide on a caterer and photographer with ease. This wonderful event will take place in Austin off Lake Travis. We are looking forward to celebrating her marriage and welcoming her husband into our family. I keep telling him he'll be my favorite son-in-law - hehehe.
Hope everyone else is doing great.
God Bless

Okay, for those who wanted to see Katie's tshirt quilt and have a Facebook account. I
finally got a picture on my profile.
Hope you can find it there.

Okay, I finished the quilt. After having no problems with the tshirts, I then had issues with the edge. The thinking part of sewing is the hardest. But, as I learned many things on the other quilts, I've also learned more from sewing this one. I must say they are a challenge for me, but I was determined to make one for each one of the kids for their 25th birthday. That only leaves the youngest and he says he'll take a Dallas Cowboy quilt - no tshirts required. We'll see; he might change his mind later in the year.
Now if we/me/someone can show/tell me how to get a picture from a camera to this site, I'll post it after I give it to that special person I made it for.
Hope everyone has a good Lord's day. I look forward to going in the morning.

Well, I've worked on a tshirt quilt this week for Katie for her birthday. I've made one for Lindsay & Taylor for their 25th. Now it's time to make hers. I'm behind since her birthday was 1 1/2 ago, but she knows and is waiting patiently. It's Mike's fault for being in the hospital and being home for a week with his leg and heart issues (guess I can blame him, right).
I am amazed how quickly the top has come together. But, I am putting it together different than from the other two times. I'm putting the batting on each square then sewing the squares together, then sewing the rows together. Wow, no stretching of material, no puckers and so easy. Wish I'd done this the first time. Now time to add the edge and backing. Spent a long time in Hobby Lobby today deciding on material. Guess what I'll be doing the next few days. I hope to be finished by sunday; well, maybe before depending on interruptions.

Mike has recently gone thru several tests - cardiolit stress test (shows no evidence of any blockages), a sleep study (he'll be getting a C-pap and will get better rest at night; & well me too) and a TEE (that showed there was no hole in the heart.
We are very happy and relieved (like a great weight was lifted off our shoulders).
His leg infection is better after 2 weeks of self-administered antibiotics by IV and now a week of oral antibiotics.
We are thankful for the many prayers on his behalf. God is great!
