Well, Rebecca sent the news out about our new puppy, now I will tell the story about him. One of my parents came to school and told us she had some free puppies, was anyone interested. Just the night before I told David that it was time for a dog because he was changing his schedule to the graveyard shift. The last time he had this shift we had a great dog that protected me during the night (or at least I felt safe). So I jumped at the offer, then heard the story. Max's mom was killed 1 1/2 weeks after the litter of 10 puppies were born. (i wouldn't be surprised if it was suicide after 10 children) Anyway, they were bottled feed and started on a special diet sooner that the average pup, so now we have the job. It's just like a baby, every 3 hour feedings and bathroom surprises(everywhere). Max will be 4 weeks on Tuesday, Oct. 21, we will be doing this until he is 6 weeks old. He is so precious, I am not minding the work, yet. By 2 weeks, I might be saying something else like WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!!!!!

Well, its next month already, SURPRISE!!!! Rebecca didn't have to hog tie me to the computer this time. It is fun to read new comments. Tomorrow is Friday and I'm ready for the weekend, don't have any plans though, anybody want to come for the weekend and see the fall colors? This invitation is not for kittyhawk, you are already here. David and Rebecca are going to the mountains tomorrow because R doesn't have school, I will bring home the bacon and fry it up the pan, and then clean it up after its done. Does that sound familiar? 30 degrees this a.m. the leaves are magnificent here too! Are you a reader? Edgar Sawtelle an Oprah book. Written here in my neck of the woods. We are going to try to move a big cedar tree tomorrow. My Dad has a tree nursery and when the trees don't sell and get too big, he just cuts them down. So I am trying to rescue a couple of them and talk him out of cutting down the others. The deer will appreciate the meals. Fog over the lake this a.m. with the water warmer than the air. Debra Biddle is on pleo if you want I will try to point her out to you. I'd love to come see the colors. We'll leave at 5 and drive through the night, taking turns sleeping. We should be there about 7 in the monring. We'll leave after lunch on Sunday, about 2, and will be home about 5 Monday morning. Quick shower and we'll be ready for work!!

Well, I told you I wasn't a everyday(month) checker! Now I have confirmed it. So, I'm told to just write something that has gone on with my life. School started and I'm back in full swing. I had a few criers in the hallway, a few who wouldn't leave the hallway, and some trying to tell me how to do my job. Luckily, I don't judge my students by their parents, they didn't ask to be born to them. My students on the other hand are doing wonderfully. I love my job and I am blessed to have it. But in May, I'll be counting the days till summer break.
My family is doing well, enjoying a beautiful fall (so far). I will have to get use to this talking about myself, even though Beth will be shocked to hear that comment.

Oh and Pleonast was started by Kennon Ballou, you can pleo him and ask him. Ben, Don and Cami's son and brother of my son in law Daniel started a yearly party called WARBIS. It stands for "We ain't right but it's spring" they have parties every spring. Welcome Connie love you gobs and I have missed you terribly.
