I'm a father-in-law again!

Thank God Laura and Jason had a great wedding yesterday. I am prejudiced but it really was outstanding in every way and we are very happy for Jason and Laura and continue to be amazed at the blessings that the Lord gives us through what He is doing in our children. To Him be all the praise!

I am home! It was an excellent trip. I saw the hand of God so much on this trip. It is amazing God's prompt and overwhelming answers to prayer. Thanks for praying. Laura gets married on the 28th!!

Joao Pessoa

Ryan and I arrived in Joao Pessoa yesterday and things are going well here. My good friend, Bladson, will be able to stay here the whole time, which is really cool. The brethren have asked me to teach Hosea and whatever else I have time for. We will basically have four studies a day. I will be eager to return home on Thursday. Thank you for your prayers.

Flora Rica and Sao Paulo

Paulo Marques, Mateus, Aried, Ryan and I spent the weekend with the small church in Flora Rica. It was good to see the six brethren there and we studied the first half of Proverbs. It was also good to be with Paulo, Mateus and Aried--they were very encouraging. We left at 3 yesterday morning to come to Sao Paulo. We spent the day yesterday and plan to spend the day in Sao Paulo today and fly to Jequie, Bahia tomorrow and to Joao Pessoa, Paraiba on Saturday. If the Lord wills we should be back home next Thursday. Thank you for your prayers.

Porto Alegre and Sao Carlos

Ryan and I have been in Brazil since Friday. We did many hours of intensive study of Mark in Porto Alegre along with lots of serious talks. Then yesterday we arrived in Sao Carlos and that has been great. Had an awesome, open group conversation with Mateus (13), his brother Lucas (18) and Aried (18) last night. On Friday Paulo has decided to take us by car to Flora Rica which will be really nice. We thought we would have to spend many, many hours on buses. Thank you for your prayers. I am eager to be home but I am happy for the wonderful opportunities here.
