Headin' To Alabama Ahead of the Storm

The Harris Family is going to visit some friends (The Perz Family) we met at HS Camp. They live in the Birmingham area. Several HS families are stopping at their house on the way to FC Lectures. We are not going to Lectures, but we thought it would be a great opportunity to visit. Meanwhile, a winter storm is headin' towards Jonesboro. Possibly 0.34" of ice followed by 5"-8" snow. It's all coming after we leave. Some of you might see that as good fortune, but WE LOVE SNOW!!! So while we are very glad to visit friends, we hate to miss the snow (not the ice!).

Smoke & Mirrors by Lifehouse is only 5 weeks away. It will be released on March 2. We now know that there will be some mention of Kelsey in the CD jacket. We've got tickets to see them in Columbus, OH on April 9th. I'm holding a meeting the following week in New Carlisle, OH, so it worked out great. They're opening for Daughtry, whom we also like very much. We saw Daughtry in Jonesboro back in December. We can't wait. Kelsey would have been so excited to see Daughtry & Lifehouse!

For those of you who've heard about my truck trying to run over me... I'm doing much better. The doc says I'll have a lump for at least six months, and my calf may be deformed forever, but as long as my strength and range of motion are similar to the left leg, FORGET ABOUT IT!!

    Oh my! The truck incident sounds like an interesting story, given that I know you are okay.

    So great about the Lifehouse album jacket mentioning Kelsey. Enjoy the concert and have safe travels to AL and OH. Take care!

    I can't wait for the CD! :) I thought about trying to get the Sisterhood to go to that exact concert because it is the closest to us! I just got the email a few days ago with the tour dates and since there aren't any in IN, I figured that would be most likely. But isn't it at midnight on the Ohio State campus?!

    Thanks for the Lifehouse update. I've been asking about it at a local music store. Hope you all have a great trip. If you had come up here we could be sledding right now. We woke up to 6 inches that was only suppossed to be 1 inch. Can't help but think you and Jonathan would have been coming home today from India. Glad your leg is better.
