Hunting Diamonds

Did you know that there is only one place in the world where you can search for diamonds and keep them?

It's Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.

Our family took a "preacher weekend" (Monday thru Wednesday morning), and visited there this week. We had a great time digging and sluicing through the dirt. We found several cool looking rocks, but alas, no diamonds. I wish we had some pictures to share but when we got about to Little Rock, I said, "We forgot the camera."

If you like to camp, and are looking for a really fun experience, I'd highly recommend it.
