My favorite time of year!
Well, school's out and it's a beautiful day in Florida. The kids are sleeping late and I've been able to enjoy a morning of working in the yard. Everything looks so green and lush after having some rain recently. Being outside, enjoying God's creation, is always a great time for prayer and meditation.
It's almost time to take the kids to FL camp! Kevin and I are looking forward to a week of vacation at Cedar Key (fishing, of course) while the kids are enjoying camp. Something we all look forward to each year. So much to do to prepare...
Hope you're all having a great summer!!

I'm so glad to see you on here. I added you to my friends list, so you can see my blog that is mostly private.
There is a group for 1980's FC alum, so I'll see if you can get invited to that. You'll see a little green message by your screen name in the right hand corner. Diane, Leslie, and Cindy L. are on here.
Woo Hoo! I miss you! -
Tell your family hello for us.
Caroline is going to a girl's camp next week and Kent is going to a boy's leadership camp the week after that, then band camp. This is the last summer we'll have with Kent still in school. Time goes by so quickly and I'm sad. Michael is taking the GA bar 7/24, so much studying is being done. -
Joey is five -- will be six in September. There is a photo of all five of us on Jerry's blog. The photo is 18 months old, probably, AND Laura has gotten married since then. I look forward to catching up with you here.

Hey Paula. If you and Kevin ever want to go fishing with NO preparation, just call Mom and Dad. They live in Okeechobee, and would LOVE to have you all to come visit anytime!

Did you catch that fish all by yourself, girl???
