Hey Erin .... Yes you are right ... it seems at least one if not both of us is sick every year!! I really think it is a let down because we are off work or something. I am sooooo sorry I haven't returned your call. I got your message and I think of you often, but it seems like it is either supper time or midnight when I think "I need to call Erin". Hope you all are doing well .... Maybe we can plan some sort of visit this year!!!!!!!! Love YOU!!

Evidently Jeremy did tell Jennifer about his baptism during a phone conversation. I think she told him that was great. I do not know how much impact it had.

Lots has happened...

Other than the presidential election, we've had alot happening here. Last weekend we went camping at Ft Desoto. It was a blast and I can't wait to go again!! The girls had fun roasting marshmallows and catching jellyfish and hermit crabs. I love sitting around the campfire at night and talking. Wade liked being able to fish right across from our site. He even caught a flounder.

Sunday when we got home from camping my parents arrived with our newest addition to the family, Cobi. He is such a sweet sweet dog. We love him already.

Let's all be praying for our country and the future. I'm constantly reminding myself that God is in control and though times may get tough there is a better future for me in Heaven!

When my dad would call to talk to Nick he never knew what to say so he would just get on the line and say "blah, blah, blah" and Nick took care of the rest! My dad loves it!

No More Coffee Please

Yesterday morning I noticed that Wade didn't drink all of his coffee before he left the house. I LOVE iced coffee and I remembered that I had some pish pish (Ready Whip for all you normal people out there) and I got excited. So I made myself a delicious cup of iced coffee with lots of Splenda, milk and piled high with whipped cream. I drank it slowly and savored each sip while I did the dishes. About an hour later I had the shakes and felt really nervous like if I stopped moving something bad would happen. Now, I drink coffee once in a while, usually once a month at night so I guess I sleep through this drugged state. I felt AWFUL all day. I got ALOT done but I didn't enjoy this feeling. I imagine this is what people feel like when they are on speed - not that I know I'm just using my imagination. The effects didn't wear off until like 5 am this morning when I finally fell asleep. I stayed up all night swearing to my self that I will NEVER drink caffeinated coffee again. All I kept thinking is that people drink this stuff EVERY day; no wonder they are addicted. Next time I’m just going to get a bowl and fill it up with pish pish and eat it with a spoon!!

I'm sorry you had such a rough day. I get that way too with caffeine and that is the worst feeling when you feel jittery can't calm down. It is rare for me to drink caffeine. I try to get caffeine free drinks and drink decaf coffee as much as possible for the same reason as you. I'm glad you are better today. :)

I heard someone say the other day that caffeine can actually raise your IQ by a few points - he was recommending this to a college student before taking his exams. I drink 2-3 cups per day, but I don't see that. Sorry you had such a negative reaction to coffee.

Coffee does bad bad things to me. I now much prefer Hot apple cider. And just think your usband drinks that foul stuff each morning. ( May explain his overly cheerful and friendly personality.)

Pre-school

Lauren started pre-school on Wednesday and she's doing great. She didn't cry and neither did I. What I did do is go to breakfast @ Cracker Barrel then went shopping at Old Time Pottery, Michaels, Bealls Outlet and TJMaxx all with her. Yesterday I was at the house all by myself. It was weird and really really quiet. I think I'll adjust ok though ;)

I have thought about you guys many times too and wondered how you were! I guess its probably been close to 10 years since we have talked. I have been in Arkansas for about 6 1/2 years. I met Jodi through some good friends I knew from FC, he went to church with them here in Conway. Once we got engaged, I moved here. We have been married 6 years and we also have 2 girls. My parents are great, they are both retired and are loving it. My sister is a nurse and has been married for 3 years - no kids yet. How about you guys and your families? Yes, we were in Orlando just 2 weeks ago! We were at Disney the whole time, but I told Jodi on the way to the airport that we should have made plans to spend time in Tampa too. Odds are you don't travel to Arkansas much do you? :)

i'm on the 3rd book of twilight and man I am having a hard time getting into the 3rd one, the 4th one tho sounds great! I am not thrilled with that book series but tis not bad, just not gorrey enough for me i think!
