This summer has been pretty nice (and hot), I had June off and July I took Gen. Psyc and learned a lot of interesting and strange things. Made an A in the class, so I'm happy about that.

Hobbies lately have been great, I finally got to take up disc golf, and I am proud owner of some really cool discs, even found 3 in a creek (I did some wading after a tree intercepted my throw right over the creek). I just had a dream last night that my discs had somehow melted so badly on the inside that they ripped in half instantly when I tried to throw them....that was horrible haha.
I decided that I'm going to attempt to do some recreational reading again, so I got me a neat book from Half-Price Books called "The Edge Chronicles book 3: Midnight over Sanctaphrax", Dad bought me my first book from that series some years ago and I'd enjoyed it enough that I was inspired to pick it back up.

My friends' tend to get together to play Halo: Reach frequently, and it's funny the kind of games you can make up just playing that alone, it's so funny..... but I won't bore with details ;p
I got into Guitar Hero (the games are old now), and I can play Hard and some Expert now :3

I'm currently home for the break between the Summer II session and Fall semester, but I do not plan on staying long (we'll kill each other). Hopefully, in the meantime, the visit will be pleasant :P.

Has it been almost a year? It's amazing what happens when you get caught up in life, sometimes you forget about some of the smaller things that you held dear during some particular points in your lifetime. I remember when I used to update so frequently. I suppose I'd gotten lazy....there's so much now I could write about, I'd get writer's block just from thinking too much! Erm well let's see if I can get a good summary going, yes?

Summer 2011:

June I had been blessed to take off, and got to spend much time at home and spend a lot of time with the family and work around the house and do stuff we hadn't done in a long time. That was a good month.
I got into a Spanish class for the Summer 2 session at a two year college, had to work on a ton of hw and do an oral presentation at the end (one of my worst talents, especially in a foreign language), but it turned out OK. I really can't remember much more that happened that summer haha.

Fall 2011:

I started a full semester at the two year college, and I took
Financial ACCT (My teacher was a girl about my age, smart and explained the material in the best way I'd ever heard)
BUSI Law
Spanish 2 (la clase de espanol es no bueno. Yo no comprendo mi professora muy bueno.)
and Design Comm I (which was the most fun class I'd had). It was a computer based class where you tried to express certain messages/agendas through digital art using Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. It was a stressful class at times but I overall enjoyed it. Maybe I'll have to get a few pics of some of my creations on here sometime.

It was a good semester, I learned a lot. No really, I did!

Spring 2012: OK I really hate this semester but I did
State GOVT
Micro ECON
and PHYSICS (bad decision)

It's been a fair semester. Lately I found I had a light case of pneumonia, similar to what I'd had in 2009 but caught much earlier (whew!). So right now I'm just getting off my prednisone meds that some of you may be so familiar with by now, and am on an antibiotic for the pneumonia. I've been getting better, but this week is gonna be kinda rough. We'll see how things go!

This month has been interesting.

After my Spanish summer class was over, I went back home to stay with the family. I was there about a week and a half; we went to Space Center Houston and the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Those were nice except much to our disgust, it felt like everywhere we went at either place, the history of this or that sprouted from evolutionary theory. UGH, people are stupid. Next thing we know, people will be marrying their imaginary friends and having kids with them, then spend the rest of their life pretending they have a spouse and all the rest that goes with that. BARF. Anyway..

It's a week until the fall semester starts at Blinn College (29th), my sister is beginning to realize what's going on and is just now starting to get nervous and stuff. It's apparently stressing her out more than she thought it would! She is fully moved in up here in Bryan, Tx, and she's staying with me. I'm pretty sure once school starts, she will devote much less time to hounding my every move o.o. She is excited to have 2 of her friends from texas camp attending Blinn as well, even more so that they are choosing to attend church at Benchley so she can see them all the time. She told me like twice that I'd probably hit it off well with one of them, and that they're very beautiful (I don't know why she was so forthcoming about that information). She's excited that they'll be there with her but I'm not getting my hopes up about them yet :P

I'm excited about new music and a new book coming soon! I've never been so excited :P

Please pray for my mom, she's going though "empty nest syndrome" and I hope it passes without too much trouble. Thanks.

Otaaaay well you'd think I'd write more than this after so long but I'm just not into it as much lately. Guess I should fix that.

Ooh I love DanceDanceRevolution, that's my favorite game/ form of exercise. It's been my hobby for some time now and I'm not planning to quit!

I am actually in the middle of my 1 month summer "break" right now (still can't believe I got a break). Feels strange to be off for more than a a few days or a week!

A friend of mine "gradeated" from t.u Tyler with a B.S in Economics and is now back in my hometown neighborhood. It's really great that we have all these opportunities to visit now after two years! Sometimes we can't even decide what we want to do, and we live in the boondocks (that's how much freedom we have)! It's cool because we live just a block away from each other (you might have guessed).

My sis is officially "gradeateded" as of June 2nd, 2011. She's gonna be my roomie (gag) for the. rest. of. my. remaining. academic. career as she goes to kollege *koff koff*. Scary. I can see our living space now, being half of the usual decor and half purple and green...but she's already told me that I'm fixing and she's cleaning. She had an argument with me about if cleaning skills were better than fixing/tech skills, and I just asked her "How would you do by yourself without someone with tech skills?" and she was like "......blahhhhhh..." haha. Ohhh it's going to be quite interesting just being with sis. I do not necessarily believe that the fact that I've lived with and known this person for *hrmph grumble* years does not really make me that much more prepared for this, hahaha.


I've decided every post I write, I'll dig up an old comment I made on pleo, totally at random, as my signoff for every post. This should be fun.
