Well we have a great present! Zachary was born on December 17th, 2009 and he weighed 7lbs 14 oz and was 20" long. Here is his Christmas card!

baby update

Well I guess I forgot to tell everyone that it's a boy. Still due on December 22. Everything seems to be good so far, the doctor doesn't say much. Everything else seems to be going okay except that Paul appears to be planning a spur of the moment trip to Mt. Rushmore?? still not sure what that's about, I just know that I won't be going on that one :) We did just come back from Disney World though and that was a lot of fun. This seems to be a good time to go, the lines were not long at all except for a couple. Hope everyone is doing well!
We had a great meeting with David last week, it was good to see him again and to hear his preaching. Hopefully we can come back up to CS sometime soon.

Thank you...she had a fun day playing chess at the national K-12 chess tournament and then blowing out birthday candles with an aunt and uncle we were staying with in the Dallas area and some chess friends. She's having a playdate party here at the house on Tuesday and will probably see the (surprise) trampoline in the backyard tomorrow (Toby stayed and put it together while we were gone and we got back after dark tonight). Hope you're doing ok...haven't heard if the baby has come early...

A baby something, human at least, not sure if girl or boy yet. The nurse said it had 10 fingers so I'm hoping for 10 toes too :) Baby was nice and still so it could be photographed and then when we were about done it stretched it's legs and rolled over on it's side, but then it came back on it's back. Due at the end of December.

Paul and I made these for his cousin Rachel's birthday.

They are cake and frosting inside with chocolate on the outside. Quite tasty if I do say. I got the general idea from bakerella
