I get to go to Dallas tomorrow to hang out with my family for the weekend! I'm soooooo excited!! :) My niece is getting soo big :) Can't wait to play with her this weekend.
Went to see "When in Rome" this evening...so cute! Thanks to Jori, Julie, and Nichole for going with me.
The Olympics starts tomorrow!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED! I LOVE THE OLYMPICS!
Work has been pretty stressful lately...so, I'll stay away from that subject...but I am blessed to have a job right now :) So, that's good!
Guess I better go pack!

Today, I was thinking about how truly blessed I am! God has blessed me so abundantly! I thank Him daily for these blessings! I am thankful for Christ coming to earth and living and being hung on the cross to take on MY sins...so, that I could have a hope of eternal salvation! I am thankful for my loving Christian parents who taught me all about my Father from the beginning of my life! They are such a wonderful example to all around them. I love them so much! I am so thankful for my awesome brother and sister-in-law and niece. They are amazing! Kyle and Hannah are such a loving couple and a wonderful example of a Christian couple...Christian parents...and Christian friends. I love them so much! I am so thankful for my amazing church family! I absolutely love it here in Columbia. I have the best friends a girl could ever have! They are always there for me...whether it is to study the Bible with me...talk with me...help me through tough times...or to just hang out and spend time together. I am so thankful for my wonderful Sweet Adeline choruses. I absolutely LOVE music and the way I can express myself through my music!

I had so much fun hanging out with my family in Texas for Thanksgiving. I was sad to leave, but it helped to know that I will be headed back there in three weeks - three weeks from this Thursday actually :) YAY!
I just LOVE Christmas time. I have Christmas music playing...I have decorated my office and my employees are decorating the rest of the office :) YAY! I just love it!
My Christmas cards are all done! My Christmas shopping is done and all wrapped and in Texas! All is well :)
Now - on to making 6 dozen cookies for this weekend's cookie exchange. :) Why did I plan it for 6 dozen? GOOD GRIEF!

I can't believe International Competition is almost here! It seems like we have been preparing for this competition for FOREVER!!! But, I leave a week from tomorrow morning :) I can't wait :) Excited to have a great convoy down there with some of my best friends in the chorus :) I can't wait!!!!!!
But, now, I'm sick :( I have to get better in the next few days so I can be full voice in Nashville. So, I'm home resting and taking tylenol to get my fever to go down and the sudafed shower soothers are awesome!
TIme to go make a packing list....and do my lesson to prepare for Bible study tomorrow night. :)

Life has been going great lately....
had a gospel meeting at church...
had a retreat and a performance for Tribute to the Top with my chorus - both went great
have another performance next week - last one beforew we compete on the big stage
new preacher moved here - Collin Stringer
Nichole and I stopped by to visit the Stringers last night before going to hang out at Preston's house. We told them that we didn't want them to get too comfortable with thinking that nobody would stop by and visit - because that's what we do - surprise visits :) It was good to talk with them and get to know them better :) Of course, I found out that they are friends with some people I know :)
Went to Preston's house to hang out, watch the Office, and play Phase 10.
My brother got a job and started this week! Praise God! This is definitely an answered prayer.
Nichole's baby shower is this weekend - baseball theme - I've been working hard on it...hope it goes great :)

I hope you are able to actual get here. DFW cancelled 300 flights today due to the 6+ inches of snow. The most I have seen in 20 years living here. From what I seen, you may not have problem flying here tomorrow, but may not be able to get to your brothers since the roads will probably turn to a sheet of ice until the afternoon when it will all melt.
