COOL

Oh the first cool morning after hot weather is such a relief. Here in RO the low temp at my place 08/28, has bee 65 degrees. After being beat with triple digit highs for most of August and lows around 80, it is refreshing. It won't last for long since it's still summer, but enjoy it while it lasts.

That didn't last long. On 08/31 it reached 100 again.

Camp Is Over

Junior Camp is over for another year. Everyone had a great time. Now it's time to catch up on lost sleep. Then, start preparing for next year's camp.

    Going out to the land to dump manure and vegetable peelings in about an hour... will take photos...
    By the way, I think you are just determined not to see us when we come through!!! Wish we could have stopped by your house. Seems like it should have been such a simple thing to do. Even if we did have to don hospital masks... Those hours in RO were just so rushed. We didn't even drive down Winters or Merrit once!

Still Snowing 12/24, 4:15 PM

In RO it's now 28 degrees with a very strong Northwest wind. It's really coming down. The last few minutes the road in front of my house has been covered in snow.

Have heard reports of ice on some bridges just west of FW. There is at least one more heavy band of snow on the way.
