It's been awhile
I'm sure nobody checks this anymore, but I am bored and trying to stay awake until my mom gets here from Florida. Things have been so busy around here since Brad has gotten home.
The only thing really exciting in my life right now is my endless studying for my Jazzercise certification. My test and workshop are at the end of June. I am so excited because it is something I have wanted to do for years and I can't believe I am actually on the road to achievment. I have a 500 page book to memorize along with 10 dance routines. I got my materials a week ago and am amazed at how out of shape I have gotten. I am worn out from practicing the workouts. Hopefully two months is enough time to get in excellent shape. It is a big challenge. I will also be in charge of the entire business aspect of it instead of just substitute teaching since there are no Jazzercise classes in the area. Which, means more money, but a LOT more responsibilty. I am amazed at how much easier it is to follow someone working out than actually teaching, memorizing the counts, reps, and specific movements. I know people think I'm crazy for being so passionate about this, but it is my dream and I love doing it. I sincerely think that becomming an instructor not only helps people physically but emotionally as well. If I can have a positive impact on one person the way my instructor had on me, then I will consider myself a success.
Landon and Victoria are getting easier in some ways since they can play together well now, but that also means that they fight more. I'm glad that Landon can hold his own with his big sister now and not let her push him around as much.
I am having an awful time with Victoria sleeping in her own bed. She says she is scared. Even if I get her to go to sleep in her own bed she wakes up frightened and either locks herslef in the bathroom or comes to bed with Brad and I. I don't know what to do with her anymore.
I am so glad it is summer and we can spend most of the day outside instead of inside watching t.v. or getting bored. However, Brad and I are still hooked on 24 and I think second season is even better than first.
That about sums it up. Marita, if you read this, because if anyone does it will probably only be you, I hope you are feeling better and we can't wait to meet our new niece or nephew and cousin!

I think the Jazzercise certification process sounds good, and I'm glad you're getting excited about it.
I hope we can see each other sometime relatively soon. It's been a long time!
