It's been a year
Yes, that really IS Nathan's name lit up on your blog. And this really is a new post. Granted, his wife wrote it, but it is a new post. Since his last post, Nathan went to school all summer to get a semester ahead in school so he could graduate early. His fiance (ME!!!) moved to Lubbock to be closer to him. Their wedding date was moved from June 15, 2007 to August 14, 2006, and they did indeed get married on that day!!! They live in a cute little apartment in Lubbock, and his wife is going to go from full time to part time work on March 26th. Nathan's Fundamentals of Engineering exam is April 21st, and his graduation date is May 12th. If all things continue to go well, Nathan will graduate with a 4.0 GPA. After graduation, Nathan and his wife will be moving to Alvin, Texas on June 1st. Nathan has acquired gainful employment with Fluor, an engineering design company in Sugarland, Texas, as a pressure vessel designer (his wife isn't good with the technical stuff, but she thinks that sounds right). His first day of work is June 18th. What a crazy, busy, happy life Nathan and his wife have!!!!

Just then a deafening roar over the treetops revealed that the radar had in fact locked on to a Royal Air Force Tornado fighter jet which was engaged in a low-flying exercise over the Border district, approaching from the North Sea.
Back at police headquarters the chief constable fired off a stiff complaint to the RAF Liaison office.
Back came the reply in true laconic RAF style:
"Thank you for your message, which allows us to complete the file on this incident. You may be interested to know that the tactical computer in the Tornado had detected the presence of, and subsequently locked onto, your hostile radar equipment and automatically sent a jamming signal back to it. Furthermore, an air-to-ground missile aboard the fully-armed aircraft had also automatically locked onto your equipment.
Fortunately the pilot flying the Tornado recognized the situation for what it was, quickly responded to the missile systems alert status, and was able to override the automated defence system before the missile was launched and your hostile radar installation was destroyed. Good Day..."
wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle
a little gunpowder on his oatmeal every morning.
The grandson did this religiously and he lived to the age
of 93.
When he died, he left 14 children, 28 grandchildren,
35 great grandchildren and
a fifteen foot hole in the wall of the crematorium.
