No sleep!
I'm getting less sleep now than during the semester, but only because there’s so much sunlight I have to be productive with. There’s close to 18 hourse of sunlight a day. It’s hard having to squeeze in so much fun. Complain complain.
Sav and I had an excellent visit with my parents while they were out visiting us. We took them to the Costal trail and Exit Glacier in Seward, the Knik River entrance, Flattop Mt, Eagle River, Hatcher’s Pass, and many, many other in between stops along the way. We only had a week with them so we tried to make it count. Looking forward to seeing some of the photos my brother’s took.
I had a chance to make it up one of the local trails recently, by the name of Wolverine peak. It was a great hike. In fact, one of the best I’ve taken since I’ve been up here. We (Flach and I) managed to evade a low lying rainstorm that covered the town while we stayed up in the mountains. One of the most beautiful things I’ve seen since coming to Alaska was the sight of the sunlight coming through the rain while we were up near the peak. It made the sky appear to glow gold. No rainbows though, not sure how that works?

Sorry, it's going to take me a long time to get my pictures ready. That sounds like a very cool thing to see. Pictures? =P -
Cool stuff. -
If I recall correctly, to see a rainbow, one needs to be looking with the sun behind one's person, and also, I think, outside of the rain. Sounds beautiful though. =) -
I figured you'd say you couldn't sleep because Savannah kept kicking you in her sleep. -
Sounds as perty as AZ sunsets. -
