Life comes and goes and all we can be expected to do is find out how to handle it as it comes at us from all sides.
I've been guilty of a lot of eavesdropping lately and I've been hearing people talk about how hard their life is right now. Everyone seems to be having it bad at varying degrees of difficultly. I just don't think I ever noticed because when you're a kid you're not really sure what hard is, when it comes to life. You want food, mom makes you a sandwhich and you never have to question whether or not you have any left because you grow up expecting there to always be bread, peanut butter, and grape jelly.
Well, I've learned that there isn't always bread, peanut butter, and grape jelly (literally and metaphorically) and sometimes you have to really work to get what's missing.
I also learned that it's always been like that but I'm not a kid anymore so I'm noticing it more often. I'm sure when I get into college it will REALLY hit me and the bread, peanut butter, and jelly will not be there more often than it is.
At least I have Loving parents who are there to guide and support me every step of the way :)

Cat dissections continue tomorrow. The gross factor is way up there, but I'm handling it surprisingly well :)
Went to Shorter this past weekend. Had a BLAST and can't wait to go there this fall :) (I say that like I'm already in :P I guess I just have confidence)
I met tons of nice people, and didn't meet a single person that i didn't like :D It was a lot of fun and I learned some good stuff.
I spent the night at my friends house and we had another bad movie night. I showed her the movie "Happily Ever After" an aweful cartoon sequal to Snow White. And it's funny, in the entire movie the prince does not get a name. It's always The Prince or My Prince. Interesting.
We also watched Labyrinth, which isn't horribly terrible but it it kind of leaves in a state of stupor the first time you watch it. However, it's male star David Bowie played a very good goblin king and there is a very cute creature that reminds me of a pamaraneian so it's redeemed :)

mmm yes.
Let's see, i glued my finger to my key with krazy cement glue (that hurt), got locked in the car (that cost me some dignity), set off the alarm in the car (another bit of lost dignity), smashed my fingers (that hurt too), hit my dad's car (my heart kind of stopped a beat when i realized exactly who's car i'd backed into at seven in the morning), but i ended the week with a party at my house that was fun and everyone had an enjoyable time.

I'm in florida right now. It's been 84 degrees average this week. How lovely :) My dog has loved hanging out with my cousin's dog, Molly, the little white maltese. Molly weighs have of Dakota but they get along great and are rarely seperated from one another.
We've done lots of shopping (I got some cute tops, a skirt, earrings, and scarves) and we're ready to come home tomorrow.
