I know I am late to this party, but I am just now letting it sink in that Alabama is going back to the Rose Bowl to play for a National Championship.

As a fan, I was nervous the entire game untill about 5 minutes left in the fourth quarter, but in retrospect, Alabama just steamrolled Florida. I was not expecting that. Just comming off of that nail bitter from the week before, I thought we would probably score about 10-13 points, and get beat pretty good, but we were ready for that one.

I just hope that we will be ready for the NC game 30 days from now. If it were next week, I would be really scared, but since it is a month away, I don't think that we will have a let down.

    I hope Texas at least shows up like Auburn did and not like Florida! Of course, I've got to pull for Texas, McCoy & Shipley in particular (I know two of Shipley's uncles and his granddad, a preacher, great guys all). But I must admit, I'm really thinking the Tide will Roll (as hard as it is for me to say that). The silver lining is continued SEC Domination!

I love scary movies, and this one has a really good twist at the end. However, it was one of the most disturbing movies ever. I am warning you now. DO NOT SEE IT!

Sleep? We don't need no stinking sleep

Saturday evening, I set our alarm clock an hour forward. However, Fallon came along later that night while we were about to hit the sack and go to sleep and set it another hour forward not knowing that it was already set for daylight savings time. So, I lost TWO hours of sleep Saturday night. This morning I had a test, and slept 2 hours last night, and I have a midterm tomorrow, and I am looking at a few hours tonight.

Bring it ON!!!!! Good thing is that my Birthday is Thursday, and after I turn in my homework assignment on Thursday morning, I am going to finally get some rest, and hopefully enjoy my Birthday.

***One Addendum to this message. After reading this, it sounds like I am whining a little. Sorry, Did not mean to whine. I just thought That it would be a funny story to tell. Everyone goes through periods where they are sleep deprived.

American Idol

Is anyone watching this year? I told myself that I would not watch it this season, b/c it is so encaptivating, but of course I am watching it again this year. The first two weeks Stunk. First week - everybody stunk. Second week - 2 good singers (Adam and the girl with red hair....by the way, Adam will probably win) Last night - pretty much everyone did a good job. About 8-9 of the people were pretty good. So, I think that this season has hope for it yet.

These Liberals Never Quit

Bobby Jindal has already struck fear into the hearts of most Liberals. One month into Obamas presidency and they are already trying to take this guy out. I have already seen 2 media outlets bash him over his speech in response to Obama the other night. That is usually the first sign that he is doing something right that the liberals automatically bash the guy for basically no reason. You can always tell that they have the talking points when at least two different, independant media outlets mouthes the same pathetic message. Jindal will be a success. I guarantee it.
