I learned today in class that our first exam will be next week. WHAT?!? It looks like I will be reading all weekend as I am, as always, behind. :( I don't know how I can get behind when I am only taking 9 hrs. Hmmm....I will have to schedule reading time for myself to make sure I don't get behind. *sigh* off to read.

I remember when the fun of registering for our wedding seemed like it would never end, and how awful it was to sit down and find everything that we wanted (mostly because it was overwhelming). Well, it's not over yet. Aparently, our dishes have decided that they don't want to be put in the microwave anymore. We know this because they have started cracking. fun. BUT! I have decided that I love BBB because they will take ANYTHING back and have decided to let us get new ones. Frankly it's a little sad, because I love the dishes we have. We have found some that are a more reliable brand, and they are really growing on me. So what can you do?

School is going really well so far this semester, but how can it not when I am only taking 9 hrs AND we started the semester off with 2 snow days. All I can say is...I LOVE winter. Ben wanted to take some pictures of all the ice and I asked him why. He explained that he hardly ever saw ice, snow, or sleet. So then I sweetly told him that if he thought what we had here was neat then we should move farther north where it snows all the time. Then he could see snow a lot more than just 2 days out of the year. He replied back with "Nice Try!". Hmmm...I think I need a new strategy or I will just have to settle for vacations where it's cold and snowy.

I never thought that I would go to class only to have a discussion on why poop is sooo great. :/ It was very strange! Apparently, if you want to major in the study of poop, you can come to Texas A&M and get your PhD in poop, because A&M has been named the "crap capital of Texas". Hmmm...learn something new everyday I guess. AND, lucky for us, our prof is the leading expert on the poop of Bigfoot and other such creatures. I just have one thing to say to that...Why?? Ok, enough about this. It was gross enough in class, and we had pictures....YUCK.

It's almost time for Ben and I to head back to our home and get ready for the coming semester. Every year I dread the end to the break. This year, though, I want to start the next semester. Not because I really want to leave SA (I've had a really nice break). I think it's because it's one step closer to Ben (hopefully) graduating, me getting a few more classes out of the way, and moving out of our 'special' apartment. It has been a good first home for us, and I know we will look back on it with fond memories and definitely laughter. However, it'll be nice to leave it behind us and move on to a place that has floor boards under the carpet. :)

I have a ton of stuff to do before school starts back up on monday or tuesday (whichever it is) which includes finishing off the rest of the thank you notes (carpal tunnel here I come!), unpacking, grocery shopping, etc. After reviewing all of the stuff I need to get done before the weekend is over I have decided I should get started.

Ok, so why is it so hard to find casual brown pants???*sigh* I think I am going to resort to ordering some online...which makes me nervous. oh well.

Well, they finally brought out our new dishwasher, but (and here at Treehouse Apartments there is always a but) it didn't fit. I would have thought, after hearing Ben tell me that bit of news, that it was way too big for the teeny tiny whole in our kitchen where it should go. However, it was something like 8 inches too small, which meant it was not even close to being wide enough. If you've seen our dishwasher or any of the appliances in our kitchen for that matter you know that they are a mini version. I didn't even know that they made dishwashers smaller than the one we have! So now they are ordering another brand new dishwasher for us. I think I've decided that I kinda like our old dishwasher. It may not always clean every dish in a load and it may only hold 3 cups and 2 plates, but it's ready to go every time I need to do the dishes.
