Pictures of the house coming soon...I hardly ever put up pics on pleo, and it always takes me awhile to figure it out.
We are mostly moved in....I have some dishes and other assorted kitchen stuff still at the apartment, as well as Ben's desk and his computer games. Once we move that stuff over to the new house, I will clean the apartment and we will officially have no more apartment :)
I have unpacked all of our boxes from when we moved, and I have a feeling that my mom is going to start wanting me to come to Fort Worth to take all my junk that she has stored in her house!
Not much else is going on with us...what's going on with you? :D

How many gallons does it take...
Does anyone know of a good way to calculate how many gallons of paint you would need to paint several rooms, while taking into consideration that not all the rooms have 4 solid walls?
There are some paint 'calculators' online that take into consideration windows and doors, but not rooms that may also only have 3 walls or half walls or even walls that are mostly taken up by things you aren't going to paint....
I don't want to get stuck with tons of extra paint, but at the same time I don't want to run out half-way through because I'm afraid that the 2nd batch of paint wouldn't match exactly what was already on the walls.
I can post pictures so you know what I'm talking about, if it would help!

I'm with Lynn and remember, it is better to go ahead and buy 2 gallons. Even when you may only need half of the 2nd one that is cheaper then buying by the qt. If you are covering dark walls with lighter paint, apply primer, you will be happier in the long run. If you are painting a lot of rooms the same color then go for the 5 gal. bucket but buy quality paint. Good luck :) Can't wait to see pictures.
Ta Da!
We are officially homeowners! We think we are going to move into the house at the end of April or the first week of May.
I went and picked out my paint colors today for the downstairs....almost time to paint :)
I also bought a book on all the different varieties of roses there are so that I can start planning how I am going to landscape the yard.
I feel very accomplished today :)

New Homeowners!
I think we have a house! Our offer was accepted, and if everything goes according to plan we will close on the house mid-April.

That was the BEST trip EVAR! (-that was for Ben but I doubt he'll ever see it, lol)
