I'm so excited...

Last Wednesday, my contract ended with the realtor that I used. We had a ton of shows but not a single offer. We had the house priced in line with the compariables. I got a new realtor on Thursday, they wanted to do a open house Saturday. Sunday they had a few shows and by Sunday night I had a offer letter. When I switched to this new realtor, they increased the price by $9K. The offer letter is pretty close to what I want to get for the house. We are doing a counter offer later today. The only things that could affect the outcome would be the survey, inspection or their credit falling through. I am so excited that a offer letter came in so quick. This has been a burdon on my mind since late last year. I have been very discourage lately with the amount of showings recently with no offers. Everyone said that the house looked good, but they didn't like it being directly on Kirkwood.

i've watched a few of those realty shows and several times when the realtor raised the price the owners actually got more offers.
it must be a perceived value thing.
hope the sale goes thru.

today is a fantastic day! they accepted all our changes and came up on the price. i will accept their offer. i pray that the outcome is good. i am so ready to move on with this. :) :) :) :)

Alright, good news on the house!
My gym experience is pretty good.
i go every day, can't really run b/c i hurt my knee on new year's eve...ice skating.
so i ride a stationary bike to get the cardio and burn.
i've been working out, mostly upper body, every other day...i'm feeling pretty good.

Very Cool - New Release - Clash of The Titans

Sometimes I am so far behind on things. I was watching the Olmypics and their was a trailer for "Clash of The Titans"; I was like "what?". This is the first that i had seen or heard that they made a remake. I am not sure if many of you remember the first one that was made in 1981, but I loved it. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering when it was going to be released. Looks like it will be out sometime in April.

Here is a comparison of the 1981 verion compared to the 2010 verion.

I haven't seen it. From your photos, the 1981 version's animation isn't that ancient except for Kraken, which looks like it's from the 1950s.

Trinity "Warrior Town"

This is pretty cool. My nephew goes to Trinity up in Euless. They have a promo video called "Warrior Town" that looks like it will be a new reality show. It is pretty neat watching the Haka that the Tongan's warrior dance that the team does before and after the games.

Sorry, the video is pretty long, but a good watch.

I am ready for Spring and Summer. We have had so many showings on the house, but no offers. Everyone says that the house looks and presents great, but they don't like it being right on Kirkwood. Patience surely is a virtue.
