ROTFL
I hate the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard. It gives me the heebie jeebies. Pretty much any kind of screeching sound drives me bonkers.
Tonight Amos discovered that I can't stand the sound of little fingernails on the painted walls of our apartment. He scratched at the wall for a few minutes before he got a really good reaction. I guess it was good, because he rolled around the bedroom floor for 10 minutes laughing at me. Then, once he had composed himself again, he crawled back over to the wall to do it again. This could have gone on for hours, but he got to laughing so hard that he got himself all choked up and we had to spend some quiet time rocking after that. Amos is such a sweet boy. He has the greatest little belly laughs. Even when they are at my expense, I think they're wonderful.
We celebrated his first birthday on Thanksgiving Day in Ohio. He had lots of fun playing with his cousin Eden. His Gram gave him his new favorite cup. It's a sippy cup with a straw instead of those funky holes. We took gobs of pictures. I hope to post a few soon.
We get to see lots of family soon. I'm too tired to link, but you all know who you are, and we're excited to see you. It has finally turned cold. Today I think it got up to 19. Brr. I don't know if I'll be making it outside to run for a few months if this continues. Last winter I was boiling hot all the time, so I didn't drink a single cup of hot chocolate. I think I'll be making up for it this winter.
Sorry for the randomness of this post. I'm tired. Happy weekend.
UPDATE:
Aaron was on his way out to the grocery store this evening. He gave me a hug and zerberted my neck and then realized I'm not Amos. I guess he's tired too.
