After I wrote how my last post was spontaneous and that I try not to get on here so often as I waste way too much time and that my skills are such that I typically delete my posts and have to write them again-- I deleted it!
So, here's to :
Not having deep thoughts about the sin filled world all the time but keeping all things in perspective and knowing that God is in control and I will try to keep growing in my walk with Him.
- good times ahead with family and friends.
- good food and not worrying about calories ( YET )
Enjoy this lovely season, all!

I had a thought and so I will share it , to whomever might read this. I was really interested in going to see Apocalypto. I love History and epic films. I even like very realistic portrayals of actual events, however bloody they may be. That may be justifying.
However, I decided to go to Plugged In to see how they reviewed the film. After reading about what is shown in this movie, I know I can not see it. I hope my experience may serve as a loving reminder to my dear friends that we must be ever so diligent about the things we allow to enter our minds.
Since I rarely post and this seems like a rather serious message , I will leave on this note:
"Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unservingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10: 22,23
May God bless each of us as we live our lives and my hope and prayer for you all is that we all help each other to reach our heavenly home!

Things I am very thankful for:
My dear husband-He gets more handsome INSIDE and OUT with each passing year.
My dear children. How nice it is to hear " I love you" among other sweet things from grown "kids".
My dear children who bless me and bless others. I have children who have servant hearts.
My two daughters still at home. I realize time is zipping by and savor the moments.
Living parents. They are getting older but thankfully all live on their own with their own happy ,productive lives.
Friends. I have some great ones who have helped and do help me so much.
College "Kids". There are so many "right-thinking/right doing" ones. They amaze me by their spiritual intrests and growth.
Neices, Children of dear friends at F.C. Happy Days!
Young married couples! Just seeing happy couples who are starting out makes me give a contented sigh...
Godly older women. They give me pause to think by their devotion to God and daily examples.
The elders at North Livingston. I appreciate and respect these hard-working and loving men.
Just a few of the things I am thinking about!

As the great song by Kermit and Fozzie goes... life is movin'right along. My girls and I are back from a month road/camp trip with many adventures under our belt. Although I sure missed my husband , I don't remember how to cook and want to either walk by the window and have a sweet lady hand me my plate of food or get it at the drive thru! It will come back.
Now on to school related things and getting to know my house, friends and state again!
