welp..im officially a GRADUATE student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) SO so relieved that the wait is over. heard back from western on wednesday and that was my first choice so i definitely accepted it right away. Stinks that this puts me away from Texas for two more years though, but you gotta do what ya gotta do.

in other news..the rest of life is good too :) as always
-i graduate in may >>awesome feeling
-i just got back from an amazing spring break of shopping in minnesota
-i love my boyfriend :)
-i am blessed beyond measure


winter is finally retreating!! i turned the a/c on in my car yesterday for the first time in at least 3 months AND i didnt have to bundle up like an eskimo to walk to school. school is super super easy now...finally. i only have classes on tues and thurs and research for an hour on wednesday..so i pretty much feel like i dont go to school at all. it's great to have so much more spare time on my hands. just got a wii fit...man, i stinkin love that thing. it'll definitely make exercising reguarly easier :) Gary Henry is also coming next week to do a gospel meeting at one of the local churches here. I'm crazy pumped about that, i really love meetings. i'm excited for summer, to come home and be with my family, for lectures, and especially camp. i still dont really like growing up, but i have to say, it's finally starting to grow on me a little :)

welp, its been a while

nearing the end (sorta) of my undergrad studies..am i weirded out?? completely. am i pumped?? completely
im starting the exhausting and very frustrating journey of searching for a graduate program. tricky tricky stuff, so far no one school offers what im looking for, guess i'll just have to look harder :) unfortunately, no schools in Texas are on my list..kinda stinks, im tired of being thousands of miles away from my family. right now, UAB and SUNY are my top choices..boo for being far from home. Also, preparing myself for the GRE in early november--> WOOF.

just reached 4 months with beau :) dont know what i'd do without him, he keeps me strong. we're going to see brian regan next weekend in nashville to celebrate..i am SO stinkin excited!! on an unrelated note, i have some friends that are seriously struggling with health problems; one physically, and one spiritually. cant go into any details, but prayers would be much appreciated.

in closing, i have two new addictions: the online wheel of fortune game and pet stores. both of which seriously/daily interfere with my homework. oops. speaking of homework, last week i wrote 21 pages in 4 days. i feel like i deserve a prize or something. or at least a booth named after me at starbucks. a booth that comes with free lattes for life

i have a serious problem with updating.

fall is nuts!! such a pretty season, such a cold season. however, i bought a bright pink lumberjack-esque hat and a big coat and now feel that i am equipped to handle fall. winter will be a different story. blechh

oh ya, im not dead. there wasnt really a shooting at western, and if there actually had been..i wasnt at school that day anyways. im really not at school a whole lot..i feel no obligation to go to classes that teach straight from the book. the book which i could read at home. in my bed. not at 9am.

also, i do not care about the presidency. things, of course, didnt go the way i wanted them to, but im sick of hearing about it. especially how our nation is doomed. i have faith in God and faith alone is sufficient. im not very politically minded and i dont ever plan to be; i have more important things to do with my time. my moral standards trump the constitution and i vote based on things like which candidate will save the most babies. not to sound rude, but i probably dont care if you think thats stupid. like i said, faith is sufficient.

speaking of election day, i got in my first real car wreck that day. what a crazy feeling. wish i couldve videotaped it. mary anne was with me and we're both okay, but incredibly lucky to be that way. aside from being temporarily car-less, things in kentucky are still amazing. going home soon :) cant stinkin wait. takin some winter classes, booo for no christmas break, yay for graduating on time!!

western is wonderful :) granted, it's a little too cool for my liking..but i love it so much i dont even care. besides, it give me an excuse to buy all the cute scarves and hats i want

i went to my first football game last night!! it was great, we got totally destroyed BUT me and the people i went with got teleprompted twice, sprayed by big red with silly string AND sat on the front row. my favorite phrase of the night: "cardinals do not have teeth!! that is against..BIOLOGY!!" -courtesy of the drunk guy next to me. (he was referring to the ball state cardinals' mascot) haha. it was a good weekend

in more interesting news, the guys i work with found out that i have a stun gun and, no joke, begged me to bring it in monday and test it out on them. i am SO excited. i always knew i would find someone dum--i mean brave enough to let me try it out :) i love my job. for many other reasons than that though

i miss my family. katherine has mono. fc people are coming this week. volleyball wednesdays. the office is back on. !!!! yaay college..yaay life

i've decided to celebrate columbus day by not going to class tomorrow. who's with me?!
