Today was graduation!!!! I can't believe that it has come and gone already. Wow, how time flies. It was a good day. Shay did a great job on her speech today and then after graduation, we all enjoyed time with family and friends. Now, it is on to the next phase of our lives. What that will be, I don't know. But we will try to enjoy it whatever it is!!!

Wow, it has been a long time since I have updated. Well, this school year is almost over. Shay only has 4 more days of school, I have 14. It has went by so fast. Graduation is in 12 days. I can't believe it is almost here.
Our VBS starts on Memorial Day. We are looking forward to seeing Josh Creel again. He really does do a great job with the teenagers.
After that, I think I will enjoy my summer. Since Shay will not be in colorguard anymore and I will not be the sponsor, I will not have to go to all the camps and do all the fundraisers, I can just sit back and rest!!!!

I am truly enjoying our little break from school. We had to go Monday and Tuesday this week and then---Forget school for a few days.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had lunch with my husband's family and then that night we had a get together with my extended family on my mother's side. It was nice getting to see everyone and EATING and EATING and EATING!!!!
Friday was shopping day. We had lots of fun. We didn't find a lot of bargains but I did get a lot of shopping done.

I can't believe that this year is almost gone. It has just flew by. Before we turn around good it will be May--and then GRADUATION for someone!!!!!!

We have 2 more football games and our season will be over. It has went by so fast.
We had our last band competiton yesterday. It was awesome. The colorguard, percussion and band got best in class and we won the silver division. What a way for the seniors to end their season!!!
Guess what tomorrow is????? Yep, you are right. My baby will be eighteen tomorrow. Wow!!! I think we are going to go shopping to let her pick out a birthday present.
We are out of school tomorrow and Tuesday. I am so glad we are finally getting a little break.

Hi There,
Thought I would update since it has been a while. Even though school has been out I have been very busy. The next couple of weeks will be busy as well. I will be going to band camp with my colorguard girls. But, I think this will be my last year since my daughter is a senior and I will have no reason to be the sponsor after she graduates. Kind of sad in a way but also happy!!!!
We have been trying to have a yard sale to raise money for the colorguard's uniforms and the weather just has not cooperated. It was supposed to have been July 7th but it rained ALL DAY!!!! So we tried to have it this past Friday. We had worked really hard setting all the stuff out and had many people to come by. Then 2 hours later guess what--It started to RAIN!!!! I should have planned this sale 2 months ago, then we would not be in a drought situation. The weather man was predicting 70% chance of rain on Saturday, so we decided just to wait until next weekend. Well, the weather man was wrong again and it did not rain a drop on Saturday, but it was too late to try to get all the girls together to have the sale. So, we are hoping that the weather will cooperate this next weekend. I want to have this sale and get it over with!!!!!
