Back To Work
Had my post-op appt. today. Took out the stitches and said everything looks good. Back to work on Monday :(

On another note, I'm having surgery tomorrow and would appreciate prayers.
My mom is recuperating - but at a slow pace - the docs said it would be a long recovery. Thanks for all of your prayers for her.
It's beautiful outside, hope you all are enjoying the beautiful spring we are having.

I am enjoying this weather for now. My friend and i have been taking advantage of it and walking over 3 miles a day. We missed yesterday but made up for it today. We walked at my house so we don't know how far we walked today but we walked for 2 1/2 hours, while the kids played in the drive way. We both want to loose 2 dress sizes by winter...that's our goal anyway. =)
Prayers for your mom recuperating- -
You will do great recovering...especially with your lovely daughter to help you through. My advice...go get massage soon after. even light massage can aid in healing and cut recovery time in half if done right. OR you could come here and I'll do it:) -

It could be better if I would stop over doing it. I feel really good and then go tackle a big job and pay for it later. One of these days I'll learn ;)

Requesting Prayers
On my way home from Ohio on Sunday afternoon, my brother called to say my mom was being transported by ambulance to a hospital in Indianapolis. She has a blood clot in her groin and from the top of her left leg down to her foot. She had a procedure today and is now in ICU. Please pray the procedure helps and the clot starts dissolving.

Update: The procedure didn't work so this morning they operated and removed the blood clot and placed several stints. Hopefully this will take care of the problem. She is still in intensive care but resting comfortably. Thanks for all of your prayers.

Fun Weekend and Now Back to Reality
Had a fun weekend in Ohio - Chloe and Emma's birthdays were on Saturday.
Now it's back to work and it's cold and rainy outside. What a great day it would have been to stay home and sleep in.

I forgot one exciting fact - I lost 16 pounds in the Biggest Loser Contest here in the school corporation. By no means the Biggest Loser -
but it was a lot of motivation and fun.
Now it's back to work and it's cold and rainy outside. What a great day it would have been to stay home and sleep in.

So Glad It's Friday
What a week - I know we shouldn't wish our lives away - but this has been quite a week! Glad Friday is finally here.
On an exciting note - I weighed in this morning in our Biggest Loser Contest - only lost 1 pound - but that takes me to 14.5 pounds!!!
And it's beautiful outside - the sun is shining again today and suppose to be in the high 40's!! I'm so ready for spring.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend - only 2 weeks until Chloe and Emma's birthdays and 3 weeks till Spring Break :) :)

My mom is 53. She has arthritis real bad in her right knee and had a section about 6 inches (or more) long that was just bare bone. She also completely tore the meniscus in 1/2, so she had to move her surgery up from this summer. He said her other knee will need done in a couple of year, unfortunately. Hope you can put it off for quite awhile!
