Catching up

This is the closest to being caught up that I have felt for a very long time. Sometimes I feel like my life is stuck in the fast forward mode. So I'll just enjoy the moment for now.

I have a brother in Sandy Valley, NV. He was not able to come back to KY for our mom's funeral in June, so I had promised him that as soon as we could, I would arrange to go out for a visit with our sister. We were able to make the trip a little over a week ago and had a good visit with him. We were also able to worship with the church in Las Vegas on Sunday. That was very encouraging. I love to travel, but there's no place like home!!

I miss this one too.

At least I've still got this one for a few more years!

    Aww! Great pictures! The crockpot recipe doesn't sound too bad. Mom loves doing showers and stuff like that. I didn't get to see the baby quilt she made though.

    I think I saw you post that Vick's remedy somewhere on here before and I told Gene about it at the time. He didn't have a cough then and wasn't receptive, but he might be now that he is in the thick of it and losing sleep. Thanks for the reminder!

    Oh good. Glad it was entertaining. :P It's for the Indiana camp actually. Jeremy, Anna, Lindsey, and Justin are all helping with it this year, so I willing to do just about anything to be there to help out!

    Now we had a tornado day!! And I sat in on a disciplinary hearing last week where the mother was so angry that when she slammed the door it "bounced" right back open and was heard in adjoining rooms!!! Scary woman!
