November?!
How can it be?
I am enjoying the cool, crisp mornings that we have been having, and looking forward to having Ben and Julianne come home for the Thanksgiving break. It's my favorite holiday. And my sister will get to share the time with us this year. It has been a very long time since I've enjoyed that blessing.
Bill, Luke and I are going to a party on Saturday. Unbeknownst to me, Bill had been working on his costume one evening earlier in the week. I was sitting at the computer, and I heard him behind me saying, "I've been to the mountain!!" I turned around to see my husband, Moses!! That helped me decide to be Zipporah. We've told Luke he can be our son, Gershom if he likes, but he's still thinking about it.
Julianne's room has become a catch all since she has left, so that is my project for this afternoon to help get it ready for her visit.
I will leave you with a couple of quotes that I really like.
"People with a heart for God have a heart for people."
"Sometimes God calms the storm, and sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His child."--Jean Van Dyke
