Ten minutes isn't very long
That's about how long I got to see Ben and Julianne yesterday.
Julianne and I had a very smooth trip down to FL on Friday, except for about the last hour and a half when she took her seatbelt off and buckled up right next to me to snuggle. The hymn was playing.....'For all that you've done I will thank you, for all that you're going to do.........'I may have gotten a little emotional. She seemed to realize before I did that it was literally our last hour and a half together before life was about to change in a very big way. But we talked some about being thankful for the time that God has given us together, yet thankful for all of the new opportunities that lie ahead for each of us----apart from one another.
I've been able to visit with many good friends from my past while here. Ben is in an apartment this year. I spent much of yesterday morning cooking some food to leave him.
(That was the 10 minutes when I saw him yesterday, when I dropped off the food.) We are suppose to go to breakfast this morning, so hopefully we can catch up on the past several days.
Ten minutes is all I can hope for again today to tell Julianne goodbye on her lunch break. It's not much time to catch up on the past 4 days, but I'll take what I can get.
I am looking forward to flying back with Renita this afternoon and reuniting with Luke and my husband. I checked the weather this morning, and it's actually a few degrees hotter in KY than it is down here, and it's been very hot down here!
So begins a new chapter in the lives of Ben and Julianne as well as me with my family of three.

You have this reminiscing mother in tears! We raise our children for this very moment, but it's a wonderful blessing to know THEY are a blessing to others in their own worlds. And yours will continue to be. -
Don't worry. I'm watching out for them :) -
Janet-you and Bill have raised amazing kids and they will be a blessing to so many new people. Your influence is spreading everywhere. And my shoulder is always here, I don't even want to think how hard it is for you. -
It was hard (and still is sometimes.) I did good though - I didn't cry at all. Of course, S. had been to Governors Scholar so I had a little experience. Will be praying for all of you guys. -
I'm praying for you all. :) You have absolutely amazing kids and I'm sure they'll make it with flying colors. They always do. :) I miss them, but I know they're having fun and enjoying being there and that makes me feel better. :) -
Enjoyed the two hours of standing/flying/baggage claim time visiting and crying with you, friend! It's nice to be home with our little families of three, isn't it? -
It was great to see you in Tampa...great to visit and talk. Your words were very encouraging for me. It is a good thing for them to be with so many of like precious faith. I have so many emotions that are just all over the place right now. I'm sure it will all settle down before too long. It is great when I see her number on caller ID or she texts me...small things that make us smile are good :) Love You Sister... -
It was good to see you though it was just for a moment. Your kids are just precious. It was a joy to see their smiling faces several times while I was there. Rest assured that you have done a great job raising them! Love you! -
So my new chapter sure is going great so far. What about yours? :-) -
Hey!! I didn't know YOU were on here. Should have known. You will do fine, your kids will do fine. And you'll be so busy that they'll be home again before you know it. -
((Janet)) -
that would be hilarious--maybe she should just hand out dad's number instead of hers. haha ;) -
Hi Janet! -
hmmm...I thought you were on my friends list, but you weren't...you are now, though:)
