Bed Toy by day, Watchman by night
Apparently Barney has been booted out of the bed. Natalie prefers him to sit on her table next to her bed at night. But come morning, he goes back in her bed. I don't quite understand that one, but I guess I don't have to. Sometimes I think toddlers should be grouped into their own species. They are just peculiar little creatures. :)
I took Natalie to the doctor yesterday. She wasn't very fond of him... although she did smile for him. She wouldn't let him check her ears... he just didn't push it because she was going to cry. She's frightened of men for some reason. I guess I would rather that than the opposite. She's about average in weight, and in the 75th percentile for height. I was relieved that she okay on her weight, just because she seems to have gotten pickier lately about what food she'll eat. I'm always afraid she's not eating enough. I guess I'm just not used to seeing her without her pudgy baby fat... especially when I'm looking at her chubby wubby sister... I realize how much she's thinned up. I've offered her scrambled eggs for breakfast like once a week for the last month or so, and she won't eat them at all. She used to love them. It's terribly frustrating... one, because she simply won't eat them and they are good for her... and because I'm wasting food. I can't really eat mine and hers.
Okay, I've got the radio on... and I'm listening to Reba sing a Kelley Clarkson song. Weird... I guess it's a duet. I'm not really a Reba fan, so I'm thinking Kelley Clarkson sounds better.
I'm totally rambling.

The pool came from Walmart- it was $20 and the pump to blow it up was $4. The pool is really neat and came with like 4 or 5 inflatible toys and a set of balls. One cool thing about it is that there are 2 sections that you can fill up with different levels of water. Still, I'm with you on being scared to put a baby in. Charlotte was all over the place falling head first into the water. We have to watch her closely. -
Toddlers are funny little things. Don't worry too much about how much she eats. Pediatricians usually say as long as they get a good meal every few days, they can do all right just with little bits here and there.
