Let's Get Serious...

about making our plans for shopping. So, if it's all the same to everyone, there are better shopping areas in Pigeon Forge. I think there's a Tanger Outlet Mall... spefically, Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Center... I think it's pretty much on the main drag. There are also a lot of places to eat around there. Does everyone know where that is? I can find specific directions if anyone needs them. Or, if you google it, you can get directions. I'm thinking the best time to meet would be mid-morning. That would give everyone to get a chance to get up and get breakfast and get there. I'm not super familiar with what stores are there, but since most of us have kids, let's say we all meet at the Carter's store around 10am, Friday, June 1st? I'm just throwing this all out there because I don't know any other way to organize it. So if anyone else has an idea, feel free to suggest it. I just have another question.... would anyone be so kind as to allow us to stay over the night before? We are about 2 hours away, and it would be great to already be there that morning. If not, that's okay. I know it's a lot to ask! Please let me know if this all sounds okay to everyone!

I wish I could go. I loved the outlet in Pigeon Forge when I got to go last year. So fun! And restaurants? Let's just say the mention of "Pigeon Forge" makes me crave Apple Barn's apple fritters. YUMMMMMMMY You guys have fun! :)

Sounds good to me so far. I was going to ask for a place to stay, too. :)

Well, thanks! I didn't realize I was being productive. I felt so bad later when I burned dinner and we went out! I thought I was so not-productive. :D It's nice to get an outside perspective.

You are actually both welcome. I think we'll have plenty of space for everyone.

thanks for the advice. i'm thinking she might be teething again...that could be part of it. but yeah, i'mnot sure what to do. i may try letting her cry some more and see what happens.

Definitely! I'm getting excited about it. At first I didn't think we'd make it, but as long as my doctor says ok I'm there!

Well, we'll just have to do it again so he can remember! :) Maybe this can become a yearly event?

i have that book...and it didn't seem to help much. i was losing way to much sleep at the time. She has cried it out before...that's how we have gotten to where we are, but she has yet to actually sleep through the night. some day, i suppose we will get there! i do want to try probably just comforting her instead of breastfeeding...i'll see what happens. Thanks for the offer.

Aw! Rosie doesn't really want to cuddle much any more, either. It goes so quickly!

    Happy Mother's Day!

You will just enjoy those cuddle times all the more as she gets older. J is almost 4 and once in a while, all that will work is cuddling with me. It warms my heart. I just feel blessed to be here to experience it.

In some ways I wish I had that problem. My 5yr old still fights my 2 year old for cuddle time. They are all so different!

I remember when Eden went through that stage, just so you know, it comes back :)

Lydia went through a little phase like that...but now she likes to be rocked again. Maybe Natalie's just taking a break. :)

Sometimes when my little boy goes to sleep without cuddling with me, I'll pick him up and cuddle with him while he's asleep. (Have you read the book Love You Forever?)

I'm actually not at all intimidated about having another child. It's the pregnancy that I don't like. I guess I've always had to be kept really busy to function the best. 3 under 3 certainly will do that, eh?!
