Update

Well life has certainly been hectic since Callie Jane came. Landon has adjusted pretty well and is obsessed with his baby sister! She, bless her heart, has not slept at night since the day we brought her home. We've tried every formula and been to the doctor MANY times. Today, I tried a new doctor who diagnosed her with reflux and put her on Zantac. Hopefully this will give us some relief. I feel bad for her that she is in pain but I also cannot continue to live on NO sleep while taking care of a very active 3 year old! Thank goodness for my grandma, mom, and Aunt Kim who watch Landon a lot so I can catch up on sleep. We are really enjoying having both our babies though and enjoy watching them interact. Hope everyone has a good fourth of July!

    Oh Melanie....do I ever "feel" your pain (or should I say lack of sleep). Christopher had terrible reflux when born, but we couldn't figure out what was wrong until he was almost 5-6 months old. By then I was a zombie. He started losing weight and then finally the doctor got serious about trying to figure it out...once he got on Reglan (for the reflux) he was like a different baby, so I am hoping you get the same results and can finally get some good sleep. Glad you have a "team" of moms there to help you out some...hang in there...:)

    So sorry you had to deal with this, and really sorry Callie had to deal with this. Lindsay had the same issue with Kate. I really hope you've found the solution!!

    Maybe instead of formula nursing might fix this problem without meds? Did you nurse and she still had problems? I am glad that you have help, there are so many that don't. :)

    I am not surprised to hear that I go to Dr. Hiben one man show--no other Dr. will see your child he is the only one in the office. Becci McKinney goes to him also, I will get you the number I have no idea what it is off the top of my head. I will get it to you, I will call you with it! I know there are several that go to him. he is sooo close too right next to bowling alley on 56th between fowler and fletcher and has night hours too 3 nights a week. I will call you tomorrow friday!
