Brian & I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on Friday. He had to work all day, but we enjoyed a nice dinner together when he got home. Every year we play our wedding CD's & look at our wedding pictures together. We usually go to the place where we got married & take a walk or have a picnic there, but we haven't been able to do that yet. We had a trip planned at the beginning of the week, but Kim & Kiley had other plans for us. (She has pictures for you to see). We canceled our reservations & have a year to reschedule. This works out better for us anyways because the boat tour & kayaking we wanted to do were all booked up for that weekend. I am just so grateful to have such a wonderful, loving husband! Last year & this year alike have been extra special because we have Carson to help us celebrate now. My card to Brian sounded like a father's day card since I said so much about how wonderful of a father he is & my gift from Brian was a pair of earrings with Carson's birthstone that match the ring he bought me after Carson was born. We look forward to many more happy years together!

Another annual event is our gospel meeting. We invite you to come each & every night this week that you are able. I am now the proud aunt of 5 nieces (Alyssa Michelle, Abigail Morgan, Katie Elizabeth, Grace Marie, & Kiley McKay) & 1 nephew (Blake Allen).
Kim delivered Kiley McKay Peck on June 16, 2008 at 1:59 p.m. She weiged 7lbs. 7.5oz. Hopefully, I will be able to post pictures later today.
We are reminded of how fragile life can be. We are so thankful to God that all went well with the pregnancy & delivery.

A butterfly lands near us, and for a brief moment, its beauty belongs to the world...but then it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it. Within our heart & memory, our loved one will always be close by. UKA
Grace Marie Anderson landed near us on May 20, 2008 & is now in the loving arms of God. She touched our lives so deeply even before we ever laid eyes on her. We were so blessed as a family to share some special moments with Grace. Derek has posted some wonderful pictures of her precious hand & footprints. There are no words to express her beauty & the impact she has had on all of our lives. We realize that God is our creator & is all powerful. We also realize that He is our comforter in time of need. May we always look to God to supply our every need.
Thank you so much to everyone who has expressed their love & concern for our family in this very difficult time. Please continue to remember Derek, Amber & Alyssa in your prayers.

We were so fortunate to have Derek, Amber, & Alyssa in our area to visit for a few days. However, they became very concerned while here that Amber wasn't able to feel Grace move like she had been. They headed to the hospital to check things out where it was confirmed that baby Grace Marie Anderson has passed from this life. We will all be heading back to Austin early in the morning where Amber can be with her regular doctors for the delivery. We have been praying that God's will be done in all things. Although this is a very difficult time for us all, we know that this is His will. Please remember Derek, Amber, Alyssa & the rest of the family in your prayers. Thank you all for your love & concern for our family.

I don't even know where to begin; we've been so busy lately! A few weeks ago Carson & I were able to go & spend a few days with Derek, Amber & Alyssa. We had a lot of fun together & can't wait to be back with them again. For those of you that don't know, they have decided to name their baby girl Grace Marie. You can go to his page for details on how they came up with the name, the latest dr. report & hear a beautiful song. Please continue to keep them all in your prayers.Amber & I took the kids to a park one day to take their pictures in the bluebonnets. The sun was so bright & it was so hot that it was hard to get any great pictures, but it was still fun. Afterwards, they got to feed the ducks, climb trees, play on the playground & fly a kite.Last week, Brian & I took Carson to a wildlife park down the road from our house. It was his first time & he loved it! It's a really neat place to go. When you drive through, the animals come up to your window & you can feed them & pet them. They also have a tram ride that takes you through the park to see all of the animals (alligators, zebras, longhorns, deer, a giraffe, camels, emus, ostrich, & so much more). They also have a petting zoo with goats & pigs & pony rides.This week, we took Carson to an Astros game & they WON!!! They played with the roof to the stadium open which was really nice. Carson enjoyed watching all of the birds, bugs & helicopters flying around. He really gets into the game too. When anyone claps or screams, he joins right in.
