Me and the kids are at my Mom's got here Wed. night about 1:00am. And of course, I had to leave IV behind that is the hardest thing about being a police officer's wife. To make matters worse he has a stomach virus yesterday while working and now I have it. He is now stationed at the police station to spend the night. They are no longer on the streets winds too high. They are getting dinner at a local hotel. I'm really worried about my house because we are in the storm surge. But, I keep telling myself it is only stuff and as long as my husband is okay. I will be grateful for that. Please everyone just say a little pray for him please.

I know I haven't been on here forever but I've been busy with the kids. But, I know this is probably the best place to get the word out. I guess it is time for a new post. I have some pictures to upload but I will have to do that later this afternoon. Quinton started tee-ball again. Today was his first game. The game was at 8:30 that was a challenge. But, he did very well. We have pictures for tee-ball at 12:45 so I'm trying to get his uniform cleaned and Makayla a nap before then. I can't believe how grown up he seems to me. I have pictures to post of our trip to New Braunfels and to the pumpkin patch. Makayla is going to be turning ONE in three weeks!!! I can't believe it! I'm working on getting her party in order. She took her first steps about a month ago. But, she still prefers to crawl. She will take about five or six steps then begin crawling. I went yesterday and bought her a walker. That is what helped Quinton he walked at nine months! So, I'm ready for her to walk. I'll post pictures of her later also. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Today is my sweet, loving husband's birthday. He turned 33 which I've been telling him he is OLD!! But, he is quick to remind me that next Wednesday I'll be 33. We have had fun though celebrating and the celebration will continue this weekend. How everyone is having a great day.

UPDATE: Well, things are going along pretty good. I have had a terrible sinus infection for about three weeks. They say it will take longer for me to get over because of my thyroid problem. I'm working on it though. Makayla is almost 10 months which I can't believe. I'm already thinking about her first birthday party. She is trying to walk. She can stand for a long period time she just won't take that first step. Quinton was walking at nine months so I don't think it will be much longer for her. She has a really great personality though. She is smiling all the time. And of course, she is a mama's girl. Which is fine with me. She loves to eat also!! Which I think is great. Quinton is growing like a weed. He has been begging us to let me go to school. I can't find anywhere for him to go a couple of days a week. They want you to pay for the whole week. So, we are having school at the house. We started on Monday and it is going really well. We do one letter and one number a week. Plus, we are practicing writing them also. I can't get over how great he is doing. He is loving it and I'm enjoying it too. We have some busy months ahead. Everyone in our family except my Mom, Quinton, and one of my nephews all have birthdays including me and IV in Sept, Oct or Nov. We are going to go shopping tonight and we are having another garage sale tomorrow. IV has training on Monday so we really aren't doing anything special. My brother-in-law has the first birthday so we maybe going out to eat Sat. night. Well, I think I've rambled enough. I have got to go see what the kids have destroyed so far today.
