Things I had forgotten about dorm living
-The noise level
-The lack of proper kitchen/breakfast facilities
-The interpersonal drama
-The joy of waking up with someone else's sock on my face
-The bathroom/shower timing shuffle
-Curfew checks
-Beds are for jumping not for sleeping
-Dancing in pajama pants to cranked up music is standard practice
-Lack of actual sleeping that ever occurs
-The clothes swapping/makeup sharing/shoe stealing
-People walking in unannounced at odd and interesting times
Still, I am having a blast, and am SO glad that I am here instead of in a hotel or at someone's apartment...even if I am feeling VERY old. (That might not stem from the dorm staying though. It might be the fact that Sarah gives my age every time she introduces me to one of her friends...)
